la raza: poor distribution of resources?

Question

why does la raza, a lobbyist group with TONS of cash, spend it's money on getting U.S. politicians to give illegals all sorts of benefits...when, with so much money, they could go back to their country of origin and help it become a better country? this is especially hard to understand when you consider that this is a group of people who love their country and their heritage...why abandon it and instead spend resources on trying to get another country's support? think of all the help la raza could do if it helped set up businesses in mexico/central america...or if they used the money to fund the campaign of a president who truly wants to help the country

I've not kept up with the culture recently, so bear with me. I have only known about LaRAZA through the Lowrider mags I once bought religiously. But, these people are only asking for the same acceptance that was once granted the Gringos (Texicans, Tejanos). They are a registered org. so they pay taxes, yes? If granted these benefits, they would add more to the tax roll, yes? Latin women are among the sexiest women on the planet, yes? Latin men are hard working, yes? The Latin American people have a moniker that states they are American, yes? These people face the same problems as we do and even worse. They are doing exactly as we would do if we were in their situation, THEY ARE DOING WHAT'S BEST FOR THEIR FAMILIES, YES???? The culture of these people dictates honor, respect, friendship, family, and all the same values that we have, BUT, they tend to stick to their convictions. There is nothing wrong with wanting more. BTW, if I remember correctly, LaRaza is a movement that involves other races, yes? I've met many Latin people, men & women, legal & not, but they are all good people as far as I can see. Texas came about as a result of us doing the same to them. Pancho Villa was one of the better known advocates for the people. Even though he may have slipped a bit to the left in the end. Santa Anna was another, but I'm not real clear on his intentions. The Latinos are a proud people and would probably give you the shirt from their own back if they thought for one second that you needed it more than them. And as a lover of the women I do know they are a hell of a lot different than our women. The biggest heartbreak of my life was a beautiful, intelligent, proper Mexican lady!!!! I would give anything to erase that mistake!!! This racist s$#t has got to stop somewhere, why not here!!!! If they are doing things legally then where's the problem. I'm sure the people who work little and get all will be pissed, but it's past time for us to shut that business down anyway. Slavery ended for the most part in the Lincoln era, but we seem to carry on the worst traditions of failure available. VIVA LA RAZA!!!!

Obviously, they don't really care of the illegals. They have an agenda of their own. Supporting illegals make them look like philanthropists, which they are not.
