well i like this total nerd but my friends laugh at me then is it me or is it my friends but i have like 4 classes with him and he sits rite next to me and always looks at me what to do??

Follow your heart. Don't pay attention to what your friends say. Most often, nerds are the ones that treat you with respect. Besides, you shouldn't let a mere stereotype get in the way of love. I say that you should talk to him on a regular basis, and get to know him.

I've always had a thing for nerds. While they may be nice at first they lack the social capabilities to handle a relationship. Unfortunately, nerd after nerd I still haven't learned this and currently like another. I keep thinking that if I just give them a chance they'll turn out okay. There's a reason they're nerds, just keep that in mind if you decide to date one.

Do what you want to do and not what people want you to do, I don't think if there is a problem with nerds. I personally like nerdy girls, they are more intellectuals than most of the herd and I am sure that you will have a better experience with nerds than some stylish hot guys. best luck!

If he looks at you a lot he likes you. Sounds like you like him, too. Don't care what others think. Take your time with him and be friends. My mother in law always told my husband's niece that nerds are nicer than the hot looking guys because nerds are not struck on themselves like the hot guys are. Good Luck!

You could smile when he looks at you. That will either scare the crap out of him, or you'll get a conversation going after class. Friends can really suck sometimes, If you want to get to know him, your friends should give you space to do this. Ultimately it's your choice you talk to. None of your friends has somebody as a friend that the rest of you are not friends with? I doubt you will be kicked to the curb by your friends if you talk to this guy, if they would you have some shallow friends.

CaydeHoney, if you like him, then be nice to him! For gosh sakes, you're not going to be bound to him for LIFE....and on that note, you may not have the same friends for LIFE, either, so don't worry so much what they think...they don't pay your bills, they don't buy your food and clothes....as long as you and "the nerd" like one another...its nobody else's business!
