Become a Roman Catholic Priest, and from there you would have to become a bishop then get selected to be a cardinal and then get all of the other cardinals to vote for you to become pope.

Get into the Catholic Church. Become ordained. Work your way up the various ranks until you become a cardinal. Wait for Benedict to die. Bribe the other cardinals.

I wanted to become a pope in my church but they wouldn't let me. I can become a saint for 10 dollars though.

As long as you are:
Male
Baptized
Practicing Catholic
those are the only requirements.

First, you have to get a few billionaires to be religious and leave their estates to your fiduciary care.
Then, enter the priesthood and bribe lots of people until you get to cardinal.
Then, get a few more billionaires to bankroll your bid for the papacy.
