How sick and perverted are you to go sticking your nose into someone elses sex life? It's their business, why not just stay out of it; the way they stay out of yours!?

Maurice H: your invisible friend has never told anyone anything. If he had, everyone would believe in him. As is, your old storybook full of bigotry don't mean squat.

Steve B.....: what the crap are you talking about? Most unwanted babies come from young girls, forced away from their families by their religious bigotry. Look it up mooron.

Don't you people get it? Your god is no more real than any other god. Horus, Kali, Zeus and Chango are just as real, but you don't take their rules seriously. Why should anyone else take yours seriously?

It makes them feel superior to criticise others. If it wasn't homosexual people it would be someone else. They just use god to justify their actions.

You're forgetting the essential reason for the existence of religion: Control. The reason the religionists insist on sticking their noses into consensual behavior among adults is their fear that people having great sex aren't thinking about gods. If they aren't thinking about gods, then religion can't control what they're thinking, or force them into behaving according to the rules of the religion.
While I agree there are too many flagrant homosexuals making it uncomfortable for the rest of us, perhaps if they were tolerated a little more, and hate speech against them was banned (as it is against other minorities), or if it was finally accepted their sexuality is NOT a choice (which all current psychological and psychiatric research has verified), perhaps there would be no further need for flagrant displays. The civil rights movement of the 50s and 60s was pretty much in-your-face, too.

Don't be so concerned with what other people think, shouldn't you care more about what God thinks? And do not advertise your lifestyle infront of those who don't want to know, don't ask questions of those whose opinions you disagree with, as you say, it's not their business, so why ask them to put in their 2 cents worth in the first place? What are you trying to stir up?Why parade your sex life in the public, shouldn't that be between the two people rather than everybody else? so who really is perverted here? Nobody is sticking their nose into your business here you are the one who is bringing it infront of people's noses, why would you do that if you don't want peoples opinions?Maybe because you do! If you are unsure of doing something then don't do it, yes I'll gladly stay out of it but don't throw it infront of my nose then!

I would be quite happy to stay out of other people's sex lives...as long as they don't have pride parades about it down main street, where my grand daughters have to see them half naked and cavorting like idiots. Their stupid festivals are even worse...
I call that getting into MY business.
What you do in private is your own business. I have nothing against giving gays the license to marry. As a Christian, I do believe that God views homosexuality as a sin...however, I am mature enough to realize that people who are not Christians need not be bound by the same rules that Christians are. All I ask is that you keep it out of the church, please. Have some respect for the people who do feel bound by God's laws.
If you want respect, it is generally a good idea to give respect.
Yeah, I know...some "Christians" are very hard-headed about this issue...
Try to understand...sex is where we all start...that being so, sex is a very vital issue to each one of us. Christians see "gay marriage" as a threat to their family values, as well they might.
However, the truth of the matter is that a marriage license actually means very little any more. Sex has become a dirty word, and marriage little more than a sham in our country.
All I can do, as a Christian, is to try to point other people to the peace of mind I have found in Christ. If you aren't interested, so be it. *shrugs* I guess that would be your loss...
It isn't up to me to tell you who to sleep with.
Just PLEASE, do what decent heteros do...KEEP IT IN YOUR OWN DAMN BEDROOM, PLEASE!!!! Don't subject innocent by-standers to an unobstructed view of your nasty butt...
Keep it off the streets, where my kids and grandkids shop, and work, and play, and walk...and keep it out of our schools, please.
After all, I pay taxes too, as do most of the rest of the Christians who you subject to your sex lives.
If you'd keep it at home, we'd have no reason to stick our nose into your sex life...and wouldn't that be grand??
We'd all be SOOO much happier...
You keep your sex life at home, where my family doesn't have to be subjected to it...
And I'll leave you alone.
I'll even support your right to marry, and set up housekeeping, and claim each other on your taxes, and inherit from one another when you die, and make decisions for one another when you are hospitalized and helpless....and all the rest of it.
Fair enough??

I can't imagine why people would stick their noses into someone's sex life uninvited. But if you ask a question, you have to be prepared for an answer you might not like. The people in this venue are asked, and they answer. That's the whole point of it, isn't it?

This is much bigger than just a question of whether or not society should be more tolerant of the homosexual lifestyle. Over past years we have seen unrelenting pressure from advocates of that lifestyle to accept as normal what is not normal, and to characterize those who disagree as narrow-minded, bigoted and unreasonable. Such advocates are quick to demand freedom of speech and thought for themselves, but equally quick to criticize those with a different view and, if possible, to silence them by applying labels like “homophobic.” In at least one country where homosexual activists have won major concessions, we have even seen a church pastor threatened with prison for preaching from the pulpit that homosexual behavior is sinful. Given these trends, we take a stand on doctrine and principle. This is more than a social issue — ultimately it may be a test of our most basic religious freedoms.
One of the great lies is that the personal choices people make do not affect others - we are a society built on individual choices. This notion that ‘what happens in your house doesn’t affect what happens in my house’ on the subject of the institution of marriage may be the ultimate sophistry of those advocating same-gender marriage. Choices do have a profound effect in a very secular way on everybody else. What happens in somebody’s house down the street does in very deed have an effect on what happens in my house and how it’s treated.

If a person does a sin, but ignores the warning that it is sin, it does not make it alright to sin.
If a person dies in their sins, their soul will be cast into hell where it is reserved until the day of Judgment.
It is not the will of God that any should perish. So when a believer speaks against or tells of the dangers of sin, it is not that they are judging or condeming, but that they hope the lost will see the err of their ways and repent and get saved so they will not be cast into eternal damnation.

I am a Christian of over 30 years. I know that these things are sin. But, I know they do not belong in the Church. As for non-believers, I cannot condemn their activities as this is not my place. This is what scripture clearly teaches me, so I choose to do as scripture says - judge within the Church and not the world.
The way the non-believers live is a manifestation of their life without God. My job is to introduce people to Him and not tell them to clean up their act. When and if they come to Him, their "act" will be dealt with.

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s only begotten Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.

to an extent you are right. When it comes to how the government regulates things we all have to have a say because we all pay taxes... or at least are supposed to, somewhere down the line. Preachers, parents, etc have a position where they are EXPECTED and COMMITED to getting in the business of those who learn from them/sit under thier leadership. However, it's not my business to go to my neighbor and confront him about his immoral relationship (unless we are great friends and it's out of genuine love and consern)

I agree with DZE!! If you don't want attention, then don't bring attention to it!
Also, it isn't my opinion you should be concerned with, you best be concerned with the Good Lords!! Judgment Day is when we all will answer to our sinful, perverted lives! I praise God that I have been forgiven for my sins and that I live a life that mirrors that forgiveness.
Hatred is not the answer to this, praying that these people will see His Glorious Light and be forgiven for their sinful lives should be our goal.....Lord bless
