What do you like better CORVETTES or Mustangs? I LOVE Corvettes!! And i hate mustangs (sry Mustang fans)

I'm guessing that you'll have more Stangs since you posted under the Ford side. For me its a matter of money, Given a set amount of money, the Mustang is just more car for the money. The Corvette is an amazing machine (especially the ZO6) but the two aren't even close in terms of pricing. For the price of a new Mustang your talking about a generation or two older vette with a good deal of miles on it. A vette is the only chebby that you would every see me consider buying, but the Stang has the same Americana that keeps buyers coming back.
Cliff notes: I'll take the stang because it fits in my budget. Stock for Stock Vette owns Stang hands down.

this question has been posted a couple times in the last week so I wont go into the same degree of detail I normally do. Basically if you are going to by a car and money is not a factor and you plan on keeping the car stock then the vette is the better choice. Especially the new Z06. If money is a factor or you plan to do modifications, then the stang is the choice, especially the Shelby gt 500 now that they are getting much closer to there msrp of 42,000. They have a built engine with all forged internal parts making them capable of handling 1000hp in stock form. !000hp in these cars is basically only a 5k supercharger swap away. Even the GT mustangs are only a supercharger swap away from 550hp, which puts them on par with the z06 for only a total price of 33k instead of 75k for the ZO6 The vettes are the better car stock vrs stock but as far as bang for the buck goes, that is where the stangs are the better buy.

I personally drive a 2000 Gt. I agree its a love or hate thing...
corvettes are more for the older mid life crisis man. But come with alot more horsepower stock
mustangs are easy to find and are a bang for the buck deal
285 horsepower for about 9g's not too bad... plus you can take the money you saved and spank vettes all day long...
but i'll also admit someone that has a vette that tosses out 1200 hp... sick...
still a toss up... i'd take both.. i'm half way there

I have had both. Both of them are great rides. I think that the Shelby GT500KR will be another good ride. I don't know the exact stats for both cars as for 0-60 times, but they have to be close. Both are over 500hp.
So I'll have to lean towards the Shelby, just because I haven't had one yet. I do think that they will hold their value better in the future, especially if you get Carroll to sign the dash.
Each to their own, I suppose.

Vettes and Stangs are both "American Muscle"... the only problem is EVERYONE loves the Vette and the Stang has a love hate thing about them! You either love it or hate it, no in between! Me... I hate the Crapstang... but thats one man's opinion!
