Not really. You would do better using your own body weight. Do pushups until you can't pushup anymore. That will build chest and arms. Do squats and lunges to build your legs. Chin ups if you have anything to hold onto. Also go to youtube.com and search on keyword (workout) You will get all kind of idea and see some hot bods in the meantime.

Good luck

If you still lift them a LOT then yes. You're going to want to lift a 5lb one more times then you'd lift a heavier one since it's lighter and not as tiring to lift.

If the muscle is not used to lifting 5 lbs, it will build muscle for a while. After that, the best you can do is improve muscle tone. You have to increase the load to increase the muscle.

first off, it depends what you think is heavy now. If right now you feel like five lbs is the heaviest you can lift, then yeah, it'll help you build muscle. in order to build muscle, you need to acheive muscle failure, and lift heavy, low repititions. with your five lb weight, its more for toning your muscles, which is what you do when you have lower weight and lots of reps.
