why do they call it YOGA?

lol i know im weird but does it stand for something?

Yoga in Sanskrit means union. Union of the body and mind. Has a common root with yoke which is the horizontal bar that ties two bullocks so that they go in unison.

Yoga involves physical asanas and breath control to help the mind stay tuned to the body and vice versa.
