Well, that was true for me at about 9 years of age. He started becoming fictional to me around the same time Santa Claus and the tooth fairy did. I slowly realized they are all children's stories, only the Jesus one applies to adults as well.

Absolutely! he fits the definition of a myth. godlike qualities, wise, charismatic. BUT, as we get closer to the time when he supposedly walked the earth, the evidence for him vanishes. Just like a myth. The only stuff we have about him was written well after his alleged death. This is amazing since his supposed arrival was announced and well known and the things the writers claim that he did was miraculous. Yet, there are no artifacts, writings or documentation about him whatsoever from that time period. Deafening silence from the time period that claims the savior of the world.

Yea, weird... Just the other day I got into a long conversation with my church's counselor about that, but stopped talking when I realized that she was saying the same thing rephrased every time.

Jesus was real. Religion and historians subverted the meaning of his existence.
You don't need him. You are God. Did Jesus not say this: "These things and more, shall you also do."
What does this mean to YOU? Do not get someone else's interpretation. What do YOU think?

He would have had to have been fictional to you to begin with to become more fictional.
Repentance and believing in the son of God for remission of our personal sin is the only way to our Father in heaven.

That's funny. As I get older, Jesus becomes more and more real to me. That's because I have put forth a lot of effort to maintain a good walk with Him all these years. If you don't read the bible regularly and pray every day, you will loose your faith in Him and eventually fall away. Get your faith back before it's too late.

I agree, all that supernatural stuff is a lot easier to believe when you are a child.
I still think he might have been a real person, but perhaps he was just some guy who claimed to be the son of god, and somehow everyone believed him. Perhaps he was executed for being a loony and he claimed that he was dying for everyone's sins.

No. I am getting Closer to Him every day. Allot has to do with the fact He has saved my physical life over five times now and my spiritual life over 40 years ago. If you want to get closer to Him as I do He will get closer to you. Read you Bible every morning and every evening and spend more time in prayer. All Praise Honor and Glory to the one True God!

No. Actually the older I get, the more real he seems to me. I guess it depends on what you want. If it is convenient to not believe in Jesus, then you won't. If it is, then you will. I personally don't know how people live w/o him. I would make such a mess of my life and others w/o him.
