Hello. Yes, is haraam to cause harm to oneself. This means you should not eat so much that you become obese and sick, you should not drink alcohol or do drugs and risk becoming addicted, you should not engaged in highly dangerous non-beneficial activities like standing on top of a car racing down the highway, and of course you should not engage in acts such a cutting or burning yourself, or, God forbid, commit suicide.

Allah forbids us to harm other people, and a good person would never consider doing such things to another, so why would he consider harming himself? After all, he is a beloved creation of Allah and his body and soul have rights on him.

Yes it is haram to harm oneself. Cutting, burning, all the way to suicide is completely haram. But one must also remember that if someone is doing this they may also have some mental problems and most likely need psychiatric help. In the end it is only Allah's place to judge.

Yes. To cause harm to the body deliberately is haraam. As the first answerer said, the body is a gift from Allah SWT so we must look after it.

Yes it is. You should not harm or hurt what Allah gave you. If a person is doing this, they have emotional issues and need to seek help.
