Apparently the government thinks the immigrants are legal or they would do something. Or do they understand the situation? How many peoples lives have changed one bit because the immigrants are sucking up all the money?

Also apparently there aren't any people in HomeL Security smart enough or worthy enough to realize this open border is a highway for illegal TERRORISTS as well. Even though the ones connected with theWTC were legal it's still shows a lack of intelligence and care as many warning signs were overlooked.

The government believes that the illegal aliens do work Americans refuse to do and because of that people in their twenties who didn't go to college can't get a job. The politicians aren't from the middle class so they don't understand what's really going on. They don't know what it's like for people with blue collar jobs that suck. In many of the cities in the southern states even have entire billboards in Spanish. I don't care which person runs for president this year because everyone who's running is disconnected with the people. I'm tired of two faced politicians. We're in a war man we can't afford to have weak and/or fickle people in the office.

And I HATE it when racists people say that the Latino Americans are more discriminated against than the Irish were during the potato famine. They know nothing of the Irish immigration and what they had to go through. Look up the Molly McGuires,Irish minors, and NINA. You'll see how bad it was for the Irish. That's like people comparing Bush to Hitler. You can't compare the two. I mean just because Bush sucks doesn't mean he's the face of evil.

Unfortunately, too many people do not understand the difference, while those who seek to undermine our way of life go out of their ways to blur this distinction for us.

Let's get back to basics, and ditch the so-called political correctness. The Immigration & Nationality Act is a good teacher here. There are IMMIGRANTS and ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Let us educate the masses to be able to differentiate between the two of these completely opposing terms.

I'm sorry.......i love history and I've read alot about immigration to this country as to the ability to immigrate to other countries. There has never been this confusion between immigration and illegal immigration and this new thing of "migration" and who's entitled to migrate or immigrate based soley on poverty. Poverty isn't something new. Countries without jobs isn't something new. Who ever swims the best has never been a requirement.....whoever lands first wins and then is entitled to chage government policy rules? Who births the most babies wins? Please.

Heck Mexico has always been our southern border. There hasn't been a cosmic shift or anything......to think that NOW their invasion is somehow justified? Sorry.....finders keepers...loosers weapers..

it means that legal immigrants got the government's permission to come here to live, and illegal ones didn't.

They aren't immigrants at all. They are aliens. Using the word "immigrant" implies that they are legal. They are not. It's like calling a "stripper" a "dancer". It muddies the waters.

you need to say if your referring to illegals. legal immigrants pay taxes, illegals don't.

i don't like paying high taxes.here's something to look at. it's the sanctuary city's that is getting hit with this. i think it's funny, they want illegals there then they can pay the high crap that comes there way. they say it's for infrastructure, ya right. http://www.autos.aol.com/article/safety/v2/_a/states-with-worst-speeding-tickets/20070829110209990001
