Can I just do something simple like walk into the officers' club a couple of times?

Well, keep in mind that getting "fired" in the military isn't as simple as someone saying "You're fired. Pack up and get out."

First, getting fired is called getting chaptered. It's a very slow process that can take months.

Next, a less than honorable discharge is never good. Think of it as automatically having bad references on a job application.

Anyway, as for how to do it, it all depends on who's in charge. Some places will throw you out once you do something stupid one time. Others will try to salvage people over and over again. Try going awol for more than a few but less than thirty days, coming up positive on a drug test, keep doing stupid things with alcohol, or show that you simply will not obey authority figures.

Theres no easy way to get out of Military service, and if you go too extreme you can make it pretty hard on yourself for quite a few after wards.

First how long did you sign up for? You maybe able to get an early out of 1 year or possibly more, or even transfer to a less strenuous unit. Are probably the best answers you have that does not have any adverse effects.

No, especially since we don't really have officer's clubs anymore.

Going AWOL for more then 30 days. Do not come back before then or your life will be hell. You may end up in jail (what someone who does this deserves), but that's about the only way to guarantee getting kicked out, since the gay thing doesn't work to well anymore.

In your case just take a magic marker and right F### You on your right hand, then when you walk by and officer or the flag and salute others can see what you telling them. We had some that had it tattooed on their hands, they was gone pretty fast but the ink stayed a long time. Your call.

I have heard that homosexuality is frounds for dissmissal, so, you could find a homophobic officer, and make it seem like you were coming on to him et.c.

Or, you could wreck your CO's office. Or masturbate over his paperwork (while he is in the room)

Be ten minutes late for parade every morning. And every few days just dont bother getting up at all. This will probably earn you punishments, so dont do them, for extra discredit.

no you would have to prove you are gay, pop positive three consecutive times on your wizz quizz, fail 2 consecutive PRTs (you will not be able to re-enlist but not get out early either) or you need to go talk to a chaplin and explain that you really can't handle it anymore and there might be something he could help do but it is going to take time and effect your ranking so think about what you are doing carefully, afterall it is not easy to just "get out" becasue you willingly went in!

All these people are wrong!!!! Right now, MURDER is about the only way to get out. The Military is so desperate for soldiers right now...gays, lesbians, adulterers, thieves, & rapists are not getting out. And going AWOL...please!!! They will find you and send your butt right back to your duty station!!! Commit murder or suicide...that's about it!
