If 1 million Mexicans all lined up at the border and charged the USA how many would get thru

Come on Mexico cross in mass numbers they will never catch you all,they to stupid,and the border is to big to patrol

It's stupid to build fences or walls to keep people out. Fences and walls can be blown up, scaled over or tunneled under.
The government would better invest in "immigration stations" along the border where Mexicans could enter the U.S. legally and apply for citizenship. Requirements would include that they learn English within a certain period of time, they commit no crimes, and they remain gainfully employed. These 'immigration stations' could resemble miniature versions of Ellis Island, where millions of immigrants came to America and most became productive, honest, hard-working U.S. citizens.
We are, after all, supposed to be the country that welcomes the poor, the downtrodden, and the oppressed. All these 'illegal immigrants' want is a chance to better themselves and their families (which is kind of ironic when you consider that all the Mexicans are coming to America and America's shipping all the jobs to Mexico!). -RKO- 08/31/-07
