They didn't hurt when they put them in. They didn't hurt for a while. About two hours and 30 minutes after i got them, one of my teeth started to hurt. This pain is unbareable. I just wanted to know if there is anything I can do to stop the pain, reduce the pain, etc.

I had them too and they hurt people, it's natural. Just don't eat hard food or candy. Eat mushy foods like apple sause and stuff. If you want to ice your mouth that works too. And maybe drink some tea after to warm it. Braces are going to hurt alot too and all you can eat is soup and ice cream. Good luck. You'll get through this...I did.

For me the spacers were the worst part of my braces. I am 6 months in and nothing I have experienced thus far relates to the pain from the spacers. Just take some tylenol and take a nap in a week they will be out.

Hi!

You can ease the pain by taking painkillers... why 7 spacers?? did u have an extraction before??? but anyways that doesn't matter... uhmmm i will give u a tip... if the spacers fall, just get a short floss and put it inside the spacer then place it between ur tooth.... but if the falling dont stops, it only means that your teeth moved and had a space for the brackets to put in....

hope that i helpd....◘☻◘

Yes, spacers hurt. Braces are going to hurt even more. I'm a wimp and my ortho gave me Vicodin. Try any pain reliever or complain to your doc.

Lucky...I had eight.

Either heating pads or ice should help...it was ice for me.
