i have a good voice(or so im told) and im wondering if taking singing clases would make it better.

yes. voice is an art like no other.
voice has limitations... you cant create a new voice. all humans (with good voices) in essence have the same qualities. you can learn from others (teachers.. singers) and make yours as good or better than theirs. There will coma a time where you will learn thing your teachers might not have known... and then you will have become the teacher. the main thing is self-confidence... if you're not comfortable with classes (people seem better than you etc.) then leave or stay... your personal choice. but never believe that you are bad.... at ANYTHING. if you are bad... become good... but never give up.
I'm an artist, and i hated my art classes, everyone was better than me. i left. i taught myself... i never lost confidence. i just went back to the same teacher and pupils (5 years later). I'm SO much better than them. my teacher ALWAYS said i wasn't that good. SHE sucked.
remember that. maybe your teacher her/himself is bad. or maybe jealous of your talent. so never give up on yourself. hope you go far in you quest of finding your voice. drop me a line if you make any Youtube videos portraying you skill. id like to see them. And BTW... this is JUST the right time for self discovery. if older... you'll think its too late... and if younger... you wont care.

There are a few things you want to be careful of. It will only do you good if you have a good teacher. You need someone who understands your voice type and knows how to teach someone your age. Your voice continues to mature along with the rest of you and many singers have done damage to their voice by trying to push too hard too early. Otherwise, go for it and enjoy.
