from the Catechism Of The Catholic Church

CCC 328 The existence of the spiritual, non-corporeal beings that Sacred Scripture usually calls "angels" is a truth of faith. The witness of Scripture is as clear as the unanimity of Tradition.
CCC 329 St. Augustine says: "'Angel' is the name of their office, not of their nature. If you seek the name of their nature, it is ‘spirit'; if you seek the name of their office, it is ‘angel': from what they are, ‘spirit,' from what they do, ‘angel.'" With their whole beings the angels are servants and messengers of God. Because they "always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven" they are the "mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word"
CCC 330 As purely spiritual creatures angels have intelligence and will: they are personal and immortal creatures, surpassing in perfection all visible creatures, as the splendor of their glory bears witness

2 Thessalonians 2:15
So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.

I make a novena to St. Raphael every week, and I've been amazed at how many positive connections I've made with new people since I started. So my comment is: Right on!

Prayer to St. Raphael, Archangel

O Raphael, lead us toward those we are waiting for, those who are waiting for us: Raphael, Angel of happy meeting, lead us by the hand toward those we are looking for. May all our movements be guided by your Light and transfigured with your joy. Angel, guide of Tobias, lay the request we now address to you at the feet of Him on whose unveiled face you are privileged to gaze. Lonely and tired, crushed by the separations and sorrows of live, we fell the need of calling you and of pleading for the protection of your wings, so that we may not be as strangers in the province of joy, all ignorant of the concerns of our country. Remember the weak, you who are strong, you whose home lies beyond the region of thunder, in a land that is always peaceful, always serene and bright with the resplendent glory of God. Amen.

Angels are real. They only visit when the time is right. I was visited by one and it was really bright it was just staring at me on the left side of my bed.

We Christians rely on our Holy Bibles, not catholic catechisms and such

Hbr 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

synonyms for "catholic" = broadminded, cosmopolitan

That's not us Christians!

Mat 23:9 And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Jhn 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Yes , angels are created beings and are real. They limit their activity today however, as we have God Himself resident within us and have no need of ministering angels.

Read the Bible for your information on angels. That is Gods Word.

No. I don't believe in angels. Did you know that the belief in angels originally came from Babylon?

Some scholars believe that Zoroastrianism had an influence on Jewish angelology, and therefore modern Christian angelology, due to the appearance of elements from Zoroastrianism in Judaism following Israel's extended contact with the Persian Empire while in exile in Babylon. Borrowed notions may include the introduction of Satan as the ruler over the powers of evil, in contrast to God (present mainly in Western Christian and Islamic theology); comparing Satan to Angra Mainyu (also known as Ahriman) of Zoroastrian faith [citation needed], who was the arch-enemy of Ahura Mazda, the supreme Universal God of mankind. Angels, some also believe, may have first been depicted as God's helpers in Zoroastrianism, and their hierarchy is comparable to modern Angelology's hierarchy.

I am with Esther. I don't need the Catholic Church to tell me what to believe. The Bible speaks of the existence of angels and that is enough for me.
