Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Exodus 32, And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us

Matthew 24:44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of

Maranatha!

I'm so glad Christians came out to encourage me because as I look at some of this stubborn answers, I get a little down on myself for failing to communicate.

daughter and goinup, I'm sorry you missed the point. While I do believe in the rapture, this is a different teaching entirely. It's about how looking for Jesus changes us and how those who have given up waiting for him become "kakos" the greek word Jesus used for evil in Matt 24 refering to a good piece of fruit becoming bad. May neither of us become kakos like the people who gave up waiting for Moses and the people of our day who are giving up waiting for Jesus.

Yes...actually the only scripture you posted having to do with the glorious appearing of Jesus in the AIR to collect His church, which is His Body is the first one..Titus.

All the others have to do with Israel and His second coming to the EARTH to set up a KINGDOM where the 12 apostles will rule in 12 thrones over the 12 tribes of Israel.

The blessed HOPE and the glorious appearing of Jesus in the AIR, will only be witnessed by the church the Body of Christ and not by the general population. It is ONLY taught by Paul in his epistles , as this is part of the body of MYSTERY truth given exclusively to Paul for us.

The rapture was not given to Israel as part of their promises and Hope as Gods earthly people...ONLY to the church the Body of Christ, his heavenly people.

the answer is yes,
yet there is that pain of knowing that those who have heard the gospel and rejected it, will not have a chance of salvation in the few years left to them that follow

in thes 3: there is that clause about the rejection of Christ being a spiritual death sentence to those who have rejected Jesus, and there are many here that I really love and want to be christians. I know that they will die in their sins

so yes, I want Jesus to come back and honestly it scares me for them that he will so very soon

the good news is, much of our military is christian and they too will go. then these who write and say such evil things of christians can have the world they want, no military to speak of, no christians telling them they need salvation.

wow, what a place to live, you have to wonder if other countries have a military with so many christians in them...there won't be any armies to fight anymore and there will be world peace

Our hope is everyday, but looking around at all the lost, I hope He waits a little longer, for that person that is still coming. But I do know He knows the perfect time.
