Ok, its my dogs b-day, she would only be getting one small doggie slice, and I want to put somthing on it. So far I have a mixture of carob powder, water and milk for the icing, but I think it needs to be a bit thicker, and the carob is strong so I was hoping to use somthing else, ergo, the idea of confec. sugar.... I just wana know if I can/should be able to use that. not alot mind you...or what else I can use to thickin it, that dosnt tast too bad. The cake is people friendly and dog friendly. If the icing tast yuiky to humans, it probably will to dogs...

Dogs don't need to eat sweets. Try treating you pooch to special doggy chocolates which are a lot safer for it's weight and heart.

I know it's late, if you're trying to make the treat tonight, but for the future, here are some great doggie treats.

And I know that Petco sells sweet doggie cookies with human-grade ingredients. (I've been known to eat a few.)

Please do not give your dog confectionery sugar. Perhaps you can try honey? Just use honey drizzled across the top in place of icing.

It's not great, but it won't kill them either.
However, chocolate (white or otherwise) might, or at the very least make them very sick.

we give our dogs white cupcakes on their birthday each year. Their poop may look a little funny for a few days, but it's nothing serious.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CHOCOLATE!!!!
