Will things be made right here and now..on this earth?
Or must we wait?

We must wait for God's time to bring justice. No one knows the hour or the day so until that time we must be about kingdom business and keep spreading the Gospel. We must keep up the good fight for Christ and not fail for those that might be saved by our testimony. Keep the faith. Jesus will come and bring the victory.

The justice you have in mind or think about is likely not going to happen. God knows a lot more than we do and knows just how much force or sympathy to take on someone. When all things that are evil are finally gone, justice will have been served. That is the only justice you need to know about. You are told when the final events begin and when the trials will be. You know when justice will come.

Not in the short run. We can expect to take up our crosses until Jesus returns at the end of the age. Of course, that doesn't preclude working for justice as a citizen of a democratic republic. For example, the killing by dehydration of Terri Schiavo was a gross injustice that has no place in a nation dedicated to securing human rights.

The reality that we live in a world largely controlled by God's enemies, darkened by many generations of sin, means we can expect trouble for our Christian witness. The people of this world don't like to hear that their deeds are evil.

An important footnote is that there is no warrant in Jesus' teachings for believing that Christians will be spirited away in a "rapture" just when the Church comes under heavy fire.
Instead: "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

I wouldn't plan on it. For how ever many years (your belief) the earth has been around your god has failed to bring justice. So I do not understand why you would expect it to happen now or anytime in the future which means there is no reason to wait for it, because it is not going to happen.

A human's view of justice is awfully narrow compared to God's. I'm amazed at how often in my life something looks unjust and unfair, but later ends up being more fair than I thought, once I get the whole picture.

I myself don't pray for justice in the world any more. I don 't think I believe that justice and injustice exist outside of a courtroom (and even then.....) But I do believe that the world is full of hurt and healing. Instead of praying for justice, I tend to pray for healing, for me and for the world.

Strange...Jesus tells us we shall never know the day nor the hour, yet people still worry about when Justice wil be served. It's a pity because many blessed moments go by unnoticed this way.
We must wait (productively). God bless you.

a) He hasn't weighed in on whether Jesus of Nazareth born in Bethlehem was the Messiah (or Moschiah, your spelling may vary), hence the rift between Judaism and Christianity.
b) He's remained conspicuously silent on the issue of who the real successor to Mohammed should have been, hence the continuing fighting and bickering between the Sunnis and the Shi-ites.
c) He hasn't made any independent pronouncements on the work of Joseph Smith and the angel Moroni, so there's a faith gap between mainstream Christianity and Mormonism.

Given all that, I don't expect G-d to do anything.

Never will there be peace and justice upon the earth. These will be firmly established in heaven and we get there one at a time.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Humanity will bring justice on itself by it's own actions. The existence of us and all life on earth as we know it depends on us. God's delusion will bring the apocalypse closer, that's one thing that's for sure. Only reason and ratio can get us out of trouble.

G-d accomplishes all things according to His Plan and His Will - not ours. I wish He could make things right - today, but He has a plan we don't know all the details about; that is why we must have faith in and trust His Almighty Words and Promises.
