I'm thinking of buying a silicone skin for my DSLR. Does any one have any experience with this? Is it worth it?

It won't protect your camera if you drop it. It's really not worth the $50. I have a Vortex Media rain jacket for bad weather. Other than than, use an lcd protective screen and be careful with your camera. I find that having a good camera bag is enough for protection when i'm not shooting.

If they made it for one of my film cameras I would. In my opinion, anything that helps keep dust and moisture out is a good thing. I've recommended company to several people in here.

The only wy to protect your camera from being dropped is to keep it secured around your neck with a good neck strap. In 36 yeras I've yet to drop a camera.
