And yet many Pagans are Polytheists...the reason no atheist or Pagan would win an election just now is: Fear. The media portrays us one way (see Charmed, The Craft, etc) and nothing could be further from the truth. People fear what they do not understand, when they are overrun by that fear, they lash out. Sad but entirely too true.

Christians will never give up all that power to an Atheist or a Jew! I would not object to one or the other being president! I would prefer either, to what we are suffering through now!' I do not know enough to say anything about a Pagan!

It's not OK to be Jewish, but you're correct re: atheist. A recent public university (minnesota) survey revealed that atheists were the least trusted of any group. Homosexuals, Muslims, and Lawyers are trusted more than atheists. Atheists also topped the same survey's list of "People You'd Least Like Your Child to Marry."
Poor atheists. Ah, well - at least they lack God, so it's not ALL bad...
oh - wait...
nevermind.

I think a lot of people would willingly vote for a Jew. I think the trouble a lot of people would have in voting for an atheist - whether fair or not - is that people look at national leaders to be representative of their deepest longings and aspirations.
And like it or not, most people have a deep longing for God (or at least something spiritual.) Maybe there are atheists who can speak to this, but it does not seem like they are many.
So I do not think people would vote against an atheist because he or she is an atheist, but because they simply cannot see the person in question embodying their inner life and deepest longings.

Because Christians like me have picked a side. A part of the reason why we picked sides is because God has us both in the future together. God is not done with the Jews. They are a little out of kilter right now, but they are nonetheless going to be our brothers in the Lord.
I love Jews. And I will always defend them against the rest of the world.
As far as Atheist Presidents go: By definition, they are presumptive and illogical concerning God. Why would I vote for that?

It is okay to be atheist or pagan.
Besides, some people also feel that it's not okay to be Christian or Jewish (especially Jewish: haven't you ever read some of the anti-semitic comments on this site?)--and I don't remember us ever having a Jewish president either.

It's ok to be whatever you desire. If we are to lean to live with each other, we must respect other people's beliefs and not try to change them, even if we feel our own beliefs are 'right'. Luckily, there is no such thing as a 'right' belief, but wars have been waged on this very principle. Personally, I think religion has brought more ill to the world than good, and people should reconsider if they to prosecute other or start wars over it.

exciting which you handle this to those that would or would possibly not have faith the certainty of the assertion. i don't think of it exchange into lots as you describe, as that Jesus desperate to fulfill the prophecies. Why he did so is open to hypothesis. in step with possibility he had foresight sufficient to nicely known a extensive exchange could happen interior the human race as a effect, and needed that fluctuate. in step with possibility he exchange into obsessed, or inspired, or besides the shown fact which you interpret it. and in step with possibility he exchange right into a time-tourist who knew that it could have the effect it had because of the fact he exchange into from the destiny the place that effect exchange into history. comprehend that if time return and forth ever turns into achievable, then time visitors have probable been around for an prolonged time. i know the English language isn't geared up to deal with the paradoxes of non-linear time, yet think of approximately it. Van Daanikan wrote "Chariots of the Gods." in step with possibility he could have written "Time Machines of the Gods."
