Well, a banana pudding would be good. Or maybe a smoothie. Or you could even chop them up and put them over a bowl of cereal or ice cream. I like it best on cereals like cheerios or corn flakes. It is really good on vanilla and believe it or not, chocolate ice cream. Sounds good to me! Here are a few recipes that I have personally tried and love!!! Hope it helps! Have a great week!

Banana Pudding

2 boxes vanilla pudding mix or banana instant pudding
4 cups milk
1 box vanilla wafers
2 large bananas

1. Mix the pudding with the milk as directed on the package.
2. Refrigerate for an hour or until soft set.
3. In a large serving bowl first spoon 1 cup of the pudding into the bottom.
4. Next slice 1/2 a banana over pudding mix.
5. Then place Vanilla wafers over puddings.
6. Repeat layers 3 times.
7. on very top instead of whole wafers crush the remaining wafers and sprinkle on top Refrigerate a few hours before serving.

Banana Smoothie

1 banana
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1-3 ice cube

Take out ye olde blender and pour in a cup of milk -- feel free to guestimate.
Peel the banana, break it in half, and add it to the blender.
Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and the ice cubes.
Blend for about 20 seconds.
Poor into a glass and enjoy.

If we don't eat all the bananas and they look like going off, I put them in the freezer skin and all, and then when I am ready I use them for banana cake, or muffins, but I have found it is best to peel them when still frozen and they are the same as a fresh banana

Kona Inn Banana Bread

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup vegetable shortening
2 cups sugar
2 cups ripe mashed bananas (about 6 bananas)
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 350.
Grease and flour 2 8x4x3-inch loaf pans.

Stir together the flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl. In another larger bowl, mix together the shortening, sugar, mashed bananas, eggs and walnuts. Add the combined dry ingredients and stir only until the batter is thoroughly blended.

Pour into the prepared pans and bake 50-60 minutes, or until a skewer or straw inserted in the center of the loaves comes out clean, or with only a few moist crumbs. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then turn out on a rack and let cool completely.

Banana Pancakes

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter, plus 3 tablespoons
3 ripe bananas, cut into 1/3-inch slices

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. In large bowl sift together flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
In separate bowl whisk together egg, buttermilk, milk and melted butter. Slowly combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Stir until the flour disappears, but being careful not to overbeat the batter.
In a large cast-iron skillet, melt about 1/2 tablespoon remaining butter. Ladle about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan for each pancake. Immediately press 4 or 5 banana slices into each so the batter oozes slightly over the fruit.
Cook until bubbles appear and then flip and cook on the other side, about 3 minutes total.
Transfer the pancakes to a platter and keep warm in the oven while you cook the remaining batches, adding butter to the pan as needed. Serve hot with syrup.

hope you enjoy these.
