In was the Fan Appreciation Tour in 1992 And the last race all the drivers agreed to let him lead the 1st lap of the race!!!!!!

All I know is that in 1984 during the FireCracker 400 at Daytona Internation Speedway, Ronald Regan, came to visit and landed at the track, and Richard Petty won his 200th win, during his last and final race in a stock car.
