i am curently fifteen and my mom is going to let me get my bellybutton pierced i think its cute and i really want it but i have no idea what the pain is going to be like ive only gotten my ears pierced and cartillage on one side anyone who can help me thanx =)

I found that my belly butty piercing hurt a lot less than any of the ones on my ears ( both cartilage and not) . It just felt like i was trying to push an earring that was a little too bigh through the hole but nothing painful

I got my bellybutton pierced when I was your age! It's scary but don't look while the guy does it! It hurts, but if it hurt extremely bad would everyone have it done?? no. It's not a walk in the park but it's not as bad as the little thing in your ear. I forget what that's called but I got that done a few months ago and it hurt 10 times worse than my bellybutton. So any ways... It hurt a bit, but it's over before you know it. Just do it and you'll be happy you did!!

It is a Good hard pinch like feeling, over in 30 seconds, the pain comes with the healing process, which takes upward of 7 months

It felt like a pinch. Someone told me to pinch my bellybutton as hard as I could....the pain is something similar to that.
Good luck. Take good care of it, do everything the piercer tells you, and DON'T take it out just because it is sore for a few days. I'm 22, and have had mine done for 2 years!

It just feels like a hard pinch really. When I got mine done, I was tense and the knot I got in my leg hurt way more than the piercing did!

I had a mega belly button piercing recently. My surgeon opened the belly button and did abdominal surgery through that opening (with two other micro entry slots for the camera and another set of tools - they'll be invisible when they heal)
As to getting a belly button piercing because it looks cute -- who is going to see it for nine months of the year when it's covered up with jeans and sweaters?

piercings doesn't really hurt much. its really fast you wouldn't even notice. if your super excited about it the pain really inst bad. but if your really afraid then i suggest you can take a Tylenol 30 minutes before getting it done. don't worry about it too much cuz afterwards its gonna look amazing.

I thought the most painful was when he put the ring in, the needle is nothing too bad, it should be fine..good luck!
