I mean, there are people strolling right in, dropping their pants, and DEFICATING! Sometimes URINATING, for anyone to see, and get this...they don't even close the stall doors because THERE ARE NO DOORS ON URINALS! It's ugly, demeaning to everyone, and STINKY!
So I propose new laws which require all public restrooms to 1) be very dimly lit, 2) have astronaught suits you put on to do your (yucky) business, and 3) only one person at a time UNDER PENALTY OF HOSE CLAMP AND/OR STAPLES.
Agree? Think about your children!

Because they're disgusting. It's definitely circular. Since women have to sit, if the bathroom doesn't seem absolutely pristine, they hover. A significant percentage miss, and being all dressed for work, or busy, or important, they won't soil their hands by taking a moment to tidy up. This forces subsequent users of that stall to hover, too, or clean up someone else's pee. That's a line few will cross without being paid to do it. Interesting is that the hover factor seems to be far more pronounced in public restrooms where the general tenor is conservatism. In emo-hippie-green restrooms, the women sit, and therefore never miss.

Yes, I agree. I had to pee so badly the other day. I went into the washroom at Zellers ans somebody had sh!t all over the toilet. I was gaggin my head off and ended up holding it for the 45 minute drive home. Some people are soooooo disgusting. Those are good laws. It is pretty bad when you really do need a space suit to go onto a public washroom. The people answering your question telling you to get a life etc must be one of the slobs who makes these messes.

Yeah, besides all the alleged gay sex that goes on in public restrooms, I actually went into a stall at WalMart one time when I had to pee and there was a huge steaming pile of poo on floor 2 feet away from the toilet. I almost puked but was also quite intrigued. Mostly disturbed, though.

most people don't know how to flush after they use it or even put that nasty tissue in the trash. I'm a lady and it not to nice to see a filthy toilet and you really have to use it really bad, us ladies have to squat over the damn bowl when nature calls. Most of the time there are not tissue to put down on the seat so we can at least think it clean enough. To all you ladies that do that to public bathrooms then I can only imagine what it looks like in the privacy of your own home.

Where lack of home-training has failed human nature, legislating it is an even bigger waste of time. People have to actually *not* want to do these things.
