Trying to figure out whether it is better to wait to buy British pounds for my trip to the UK in late November now or wait awhile??

The dollar is on a slide against both the Pound and the Euro and it's not going to reverse any time soon.

What you apparently don't know or understand is, the DOLLAR is a commodity... just like corn or beans or sorghum... and SINCE it's a commodity... it is only worth what someone is willing to PAY for it.

Thanks to Ronald Ray-gun... the value of the dollar was trashed against European currencies back in the early 1980's and has never recovered.

It's not the REST of the world's currencies that have increased in value... it's the DOLLAR that has failed to hold it's value.

NO NO NO!!!! best time 2$ for a pound!!!

It will defenetly decline soon as not so many people are going to the USA now the summer is over.

The dollar will decline. Its value is being degraded by the Iraq war and financial scandals
