Chicken is low fat and high in protein. it's good for humans and dogs as long at is cooked properly. Boiled or baked without seasonings. When we eat chicken tenders or boneless breasts, I always share it with the dogs.

If you look at almost all dog foods the meat that is used is chicken and or a chicken by product. Chicken is a great protein for dogs just make sure that there are no bones. However I would advise to stir clear of raw chicken, personally I don't know if raw is okay or not however I would not try it.

Chicken is ok for dogs to eat as long as it is cooked and has no bones ,the bones from chicken are soft and spliter they can get cought in the throat and can cause some serious damage to your dog. If you like feeding your dog chicken make sure it is cooked and not raw best way is to just boil it spices are not heathy for dogs.
I hope this was helpful

My vet has told me that dogs can eat raw chicken and the bones just like in the wild very healthy for them besides giving them dry dog food once a day. If you just give dry food the dog will not get everything he is suppose to get. You don't want to mix the meats at one feeding. Chicken one day beef another. My dogs have done well on it.

Plain chicken isn't bad for dogs. Bones are not recommended because chicken bones can splinter easily and cause problems when passing through the digestive tract. I wouldn't recommend feeding any seasoned/marinated chicken to dogs. Raw chicken is fine for dogs used to raw meat, but for dogs that have always been on a dry dog food, it can upset their stomachs. It doesn't mean raw chicken is bad, it just means the dog isn't used to it.

Yes, chicken is fine if cooked and not seasoned. Raw chicken can cause problems in dogs not used to a Raw Diet. Cooked chicken bones KILL tho, never feed any critter cooked bones of any type.

Most high quality dog foods include chicken, chicken meal and a variety of other foul meat products: duck, turkey, pheasant, etc. They are all ok to feed, less the bones unless you make meal of them.

Chicken is ok (without bones and boiled) if your dog has gastric problems or pancreatic troubles. It is bland and thus, not upsetting any of those organs.
It will not give him/her the proper nutrients on a long term level.
And please don't listen to those raw diet people.
There are many commercial diets that will serve his needs.
