There are alot of household things alone that could be very harmful to your pet, check out this website;

The best thing to do is get down on your hands and knee's, the eye level of your dog and walk your home ~ this way you are visually seeing what your pet see's, anything like extension cords, small objects, plastic's etc things animals might find amusing could actually harm them. One of a dogs favorite place is the bathroom/kitchen trash ~ just think of all the stuff we throw away ~ scary!!!

Well, I don't really know what to tell you because my doggies have found everyway possible to get into stuff. My dogs have chewed on electrical cords, but now they don't. They have found some chocolate somehow and have ate 5 pills of birthcontrol. They happened to jump on my computer chair, wiggled there heads to push out the chair and then jump on my computer desk and into my purse. They are very smart dogs and they will get what they want someway or another. I have minature Daschunds, fyi! Both of my dogs have been to the vet about the birth control incident and they were fine! I now keep everything on counter tops instead of tables. Good luck!

Chocolate and onions can kill a dog. But mostly it depends on the breed. Like for Papillons, there are certain flowers that if they eat it, it will kill them.

Poinsettia plants are poisonous when ingested by anybody, man or dog (or cat). I give my dog grapes all the time- he's never been sick by them, and they give him lots of exercise running around chasing them. Mmy dog has stole chocolate bars from me too (I'm not a horrible owner, he broke into a room and sniffed them sitting on a chair hidden with clothes and other crap.) he's never been sick.

i know that the dogs shouldn't eat onions or chocolate.
chocolate could get them really sick, and onions could kill them. but dogs don't usually eat onions by its self. so make sure if you make food with onions, don't let them near it.
and i heard something about nuts. and chicken bones. it is really dangerous. they can choke on the chicken bone.

I hope you're not asking because you want to kill a dog, because then you need to ask how many years in prison you're going to get.
The mood of people about animal abuse is not tolerant at the moment.
