i dont see y most ppl say "ur just fishingfor compliments." i see girls asking "am i pretty?", and a lot of people leave rude comments. i think that maybe they ask those questions and expect someone to say "yes." bcuz they want to feel good about them selves. so y do people have to bring them down? just like every other question. someone ALWAYS gives a negative comment. i find that annoying...

People are rude. It's a simple yes or no answer, I mean, we all love to be flattered and complimented from time to time. People shouldn't "bring them down", they should just tell them what they think and call it a day. I hate that some people are just so rude.

It is more so that we wonder why someone would ask that on here? It is very dangerous to post pictures of yourself on the internet. Agreed someone people have self esteem issues and need positive reinforcement. Just not sure this is the place for that!?

Well dear, it's because they don't want to lie and they know the girl will be heartbroken and mad if they tell the truth. It just puts them in a difficult position. And, some people are incapable of lying, hence the anger.

Because most of the girls asking if they are pretty are not pretty. The whole reason they are asking is because no one in real life is telling them they are pretty, and the reason no one in real life is telling them they are pretty is because they are not. And so, they fish for compliments on the internet.

eh its kindda depends on the person, i mean if someone really wants to know and u could tell than i mean its ok but if someone is just wanting to flatter themselves it can be very annoying. ur better off not really asking that question, or maybe not in that specific way

because its asked so often its annoying- and it seems like only really pretty girls are doing it. when I see someone ask it more than once I say "Your pretty...dont u get that by now?" or just say "stop asking please!".
I dont think your such an angel either though- your name is making fun of emo boys....and thats not nice- they have emotional problems.

i understand. i mean this is answers and it is a reasonable question to ask. however i think people that say rude comments like you were referring to, want that girl to realize it doesn'tt matter what others think, it's how you feel about yourself. but that wasn't the question and i agree with you totally.

I never have to ask anybody if i am pretty, because i know I am, i hear it everywhere i go, so i dont have to ask. Why she has to ask? Nobody says her? Must be reason for it. :)

some women are like some men...insecure....unless a woman is butt ugly (very few are), find something that is attractive and say, "you are so pretty, or you are a lovely woman"...and do it sincerely....they do appreciate it.
