This sounds like it may be submissive urination. First, if this is a relatively new problem make sure that there isn't a medical problem, like a urinary tract infection. If this is how he's always been, then this is most likely behavioral (although there are some really weird congenital problems that may show up that way, but they're rare). Submissive dogs pee when nervous or excited to show that they are not a threat. Sometimes it is accompanied by rolling over on the back (so they end up peeing on themselves - yuck) and/or lowering their stance to appear smaller. If he's really frightened, he may cower and tuck his tail, or try to run away. If he wags his tail while he's doing it, it's probably not fear. Tail wagging means he wants to interact. Submissive urination is treated first by realizing that yelling at him isn't going to work. It only makes things worse. Remain calm, recognize situations he might get nervous in and keep him out of those situations as much as possible. Ignore him when you first come home, or any time he's acting nervous/excited, when he's calm gently interact. If he starts to crouch, step back and wait until he relaxes. If he does pee, just clean it up and don't make a fuss about it. Nature's Miracle works great for those by the way. Use it first and use as much of it as there is pee- let it soak in and that's it. If you use any other cleaner first it won't work as well. A crate is a wonderful thing for helping to protect him from situations he gets nervous or excited in. If there are a lot of situations you can't avoid, consider something called desensitization. You've heard of kids exposed to too much violence not caring about it anymore? That's desensitization in a nutshell. What happens is they're exposed to little bits at a time, gradually increasing the amount until they don't care. It works great for reducing phobias, as long as you take it nice and slow. For example if he is scared of loud noises, start with quiet ones, gradually increase the sound level and repeat many times at each level until each level of sound is ignored as unimportant. If he's really afraid, you may have to go so slow you feel like you'll take forever, but it can work if you're patient. Two rules to keep in mind: ignore behavior you don't like/reward behavior you do like, and if desensitizing isn't working, your steps are too big or fast - slow down.

It is not unusual, especially with female dogs, to pee when excited. But they normally pee only a little bit. Usually, to stop this happening, you just have to avoid getting the dog excited indoors. For instance, a lot of dogs get excited when you come home. To avoid this, completely ignore the dog for 5 minutes after you get home.
Some dogs turn on their backs and pee a little, to show submission, and they may do this especially when nervous. The cure for this is to give the dog basic obedience training, then when the dog starts to get nervous, make him sit, heel, down, stay.... He'll know what he's supposed to do, so he won't be nervous.
You might also take the dog to the vet to make sure he doesn't have a bladder infection.

There's not really a lot you can do. Some dogs are just nervous or excited pee-ers. The dog may or may not grow out of it.

The best thing you can try to do is talk to your mom. Talk to a vet or trainer to see if you can get some tips on how to boost the little guy's confidence. A dog that is constantly scared isn't going to be happy. See what they say and follow it thoroughly.

Some dogs when they get excited just naturally dribble. You may want to talk with your vet and see if there is an underlying problem and if not, maybe he just has a nervous bladder.

If there is not a medical problem, there are a couple things that can be done that might help ~ check into pet diapers which can be purchased at your local pet store ~ or you can use a belly band with a pad, or get an old pair of your undershorts and put on him, hope this help...

WOW plenty of questions! I'll take on the primary one. And it might support to know the way historic he's.:) one million -You could ought to get him checked through the vet. If he has a urinary tract contamination then he may not be competent to support it and all teh coaching and strategies on the earth may not difference a factor. two -Lose the pee pads. This is a certain fireplace option to CONFUSE your puppy since what they be trained is that it's alright to pee within. They don't udnerstand that there's anything magical approximately the pee pads that makes it adequate. three - Take him outdoor ordinarily so he has the risk to pee external. When he does, compliment him in a blissful voice and probably even supply him a deal with. If you'll take the paper / throw rug / some thing that he peed on within the condo and positioned it in which you desire him to head external to be able to cross some distance in instructing him to head outdoor. four - Do no longer depart him unsupervised within the condo. Keep a watch on him continuously and if you happen to see him sniffing like he's approximately to "cross" get him external. Play with him a bit too, or else he'll get the notion that he's being punished for peeing and / or peeing external and that it the final factor you desire. five - Never ever scold him for peeing interior. If you do all to be able to occur is he'll determine it is a dangerous notion so that you can see him peeing after which he may not pee outdoor while you cross on walks. He'll additionally get well at being sneaky approximately peeing interior so he can prevent the punishment. 6 - Be sufferer. Now that he has the dangerous dependancy, exchanging it may not occur in a single day. Dogs do not all of a sudden "get it" after which act ultimate. Instead what is going to occur is that there will probably be fewer and less injuries and he's going to get it correct increasingly ordinarily till ultimately he's going to be housebroken. It might take approximately 2 months. Be sufferer and regular and well good fortune!

Some breeds just tend to pee when excited/nervous and it's something that is hard to rid them of. The only advice I can give is do your hardest to keep him out of stressful situations, and when you come home (if this is also the case) and he pees in excitement to see you, just ignore him when you walk in. Its a little mean, but just calmly greet him once you're settled and he seems settled as well. Good luck, I have had puppies that did this but they thankfully outgrew it.

Dogs that pee because they are nervous almost always do not have clear leadership in their lives. They don't know who is in charge and it makes them nervous. Establish yourself as a leader, and then they won't feel so insecure. Dogs are pack animals and need a pack leader...you can do it!

if he gets nervous there is nothing that you can do to change his feeling. so if he lives inside the house, have you ever thought about putting a dog diaper on him? i know it sound ridiculous but if you don't want to loose him, that may be the only way
