Was Mother Therese great or was she, as described in Christopher Hitchins' book 'God Is Not Great' just an ambitious Albanian charlatan?

Mother Teresa was really very great-very few humans are as great as Mother Teresa. The book writer has adopted the Usual "strategy",by attacking honest, sincere, noble people ,one can get cheap popualarity and his/her Book would sell in large Numbers and make a lot of money..--I am a Hindu-not a Christian.

well....
she did coin the famous phrase.........

We The Willing....
---------------------
We the Willing
Led by the Unknowing
Are doing the Impossible
For the Ungrateful.

We have done So Much
With So Little
For So Long
We are now Qualified
To do Anything
With Nothing.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Christopher Hitchens is a drunken, obnoxious slob, just look at how he slandered Clinton aide Sid Blumenthal. She helped alot of people, which is more than the rest of us could ever hope to accomplish, so yeah, I'd say she was great.

The latter--she was also 1/3 of the focus of the "Holier Than Thou" episode of "Bullshit!"

She wasn't even saved, based upon her own words. She said that any road goes to heaven, but Jesus said He is the only way to heaven.

So based upon that belief, it seems she wasn't even saved from the beginning. Good deeds don't save. That would have her in hell for eternity right now.

And she's not my "mother".

whether or not another person is great is a matter of personal opinion.

I believe that she was great, and I think in time the Catholic Church will declare her a saint.

Ask all the thousands of poor and hungry that she helped. Ask the nuns of her order who serve in the hundreds of homes for the downtrodden that she established.

All you who gave me a thumbs-down: How many poor and hungry have you pathetic losers helped out? You disgust me.
