I wrote eariler about a fighting a ticket for being a cell. I know now I cant fight that. But this officer completely ignored the fact that this woman had been following me for a few miles and she almost hit me from behind for being on her cellphone as well. I told him about this woman and he just said "well there are alot of people behind you so that I guess that means alot of people are following you." He didnt even bother to care. Im 23yrs and she is in her 40's so Im guessing since Im younger that means im just making it up

I certainly understand that you are upset about the situation, but what I am about to say will probably make it worse. Unless you have a MAJOR complaint about an officer, it does no good to file a complaint. Just a random stop for a minor offense will be laughed at among the officers. They call it "doing their job". Sorry to be so blount about it but I have worked with these guys for a while and most ARE jerks. Sorry you had such a bad experience!

If you decide to fight this ticket in court PLEASE do not bring up the fact that the officer didn't stop the lady behind you for tailgating and it was age discrimination. The judge will see you as a whining spoiled brat and has even less sympathy.

Get a hands free device. These are WAY cheaper than a ticket nad you can use it to call 911 when someone is tailgating you, or ont using their blinker, or whatever else you want to waste their time with.

The officer can not go stop someone on your statement without a very good reason and no evidence. You have to go to the magistrate court or your area's equivalent and make a criminal complaint and swear out a warrant for thier offense.

Make it easier on yourself and let it go. The officers you speak to at the department about making a civilian complaint because this officer did not give another person a ticket will laugh you out of the building and admonish you for wasting thier time.

It is offically time to grow up.

Why do you need to make a complaint to the officer? Take you're ticket and be done with it. Next time call 911 when an occurance happens and you wont get the ticket.

Wow......... such hate........

Anyway, take your ticket to court and let a judge decide.

If you want to complain on the issuing officer, call the police and ask to speak with his supervisor and explain the situation.

If the agency is large enough to have an Internal Affairs unit, you can make a complaint to them.

you may be and adult but you have a great deal of growing up to do.you stated a woman was following you. why was she following you?how do you know she was following you?how do you know the age of the woman who is folllowing you?then you ask how the officer can hold your race and sex against you. not in one single part of you rant did you show where any officer did this.there are more holes in your story than a slice of swiss cheese. you need to grow up and learn to tell the truth.this also sounds like road rage.---retired texas deputy sheriff---

Call the Police Department.

On a side note....This has nothing to do with age discrimination. You were on your cell and he saw it. We can't write cites for things we did not witness (with the exception of accidents).

Plus, we don't get paid to care ABOUT you. We get paid to take care OF you.

****ADDITION****
"first of all i am grown up. and most cops are assholes who DO infact judge based on race, gender and age."

Well, I guess you know it all, so why ask questions?

Go to the internal affairs division of the police department.

...but officer...all the other cars were speeding too....why don't you give them all tickets?..

Cause you're the one he caught.

Grow up - suck it up and pay your ticket.

The office did not do anything wrong by not dropping everything to run down the woman who was behind you who you claim was doing it too - you're the one he saw doing it and you're the one he caught.

again, the cop would have had to have seen her following you closely and seen her on her phone. He saw YOU. It would not have mattered if you were 23 or 63.

Pay your fine and stop whining.
