just wondering what people think of this..i could never get it cuz having sumthin implanted in my eye freaks me out but more power to people who have the balls to do this...would u get it? why or why not? do u guys think this is gunna become mainstream and we are gunna see alot of kids getting it done? thats a scary thought.. parents of people around my age are complaining that their kids are getting tongue rings and "tramp stamps" (i hate that term!!)...maybe this will be the newest trend when i have kids...yikes!! lol

no rude answers please...everyone has their opions and not everyone likes piercings or tattoos but dont bash others because they have them..thanks :)

I'm all for piercings and other modifications. I have 3 tattoos, a large scar, and I've been pierced 42 times so far, about half were temporary. That procedure could lead to blindness. Anything that can lead to that kind of impairment shouldn't be done just because. I understand why people do most things. But I think that's the first thing I've seen where I just wonder "why?"
But it's not my place to tell people what they can and can't do. I want to do my thing and if someone else really has a reason for wanting it, and has thought it out completely, they should be able to do it. It's not for me. And to me it seems like a bad idea. However, it's not my place to say what you can and can't do.

Actually, I think it's beautiful. It reminds me a lot of Scott Westerfeld's books in the "Uglies" trilogy. It sounds a bit dangerous though. This isn't something I would consider until it becomes a little more common and there's a much lower risk of complication. (But I doubt that will ever happen. Not to mention that I'm sure it's very expensive.)

No, I wouldn't.
Even though I think it looks fine, and I live about 10 miles from one of the centers that performs that procedure, I have read too many stories about it messing up.
It pretty much just looks great for the first day and then it becomes a bloody mess.
Its pretty gross if you've ever seen pictures of the aftermath.

If u like it, do it! Personally i wouldn't mind getting a tonge ring, or belly piercing! But I dont think i would get anything else! But I hang out with people who have lip, nose, eye brow piercings, and etc... Its cool for other ppl, just not me!

And as far as tattoos, go for it there HOT! exspecially on guys with muscles, when u see there arms and those tattos that they have, wow its SEXY! LOL

I would not really want that on my eye. I don't mind like piercings or tattoos in like normaler places, but eyes just not for me. But for people that do have them I guess like them, and I respect that. I do hope that when I have kids that is not the trend.. hehe :) Have a nice day!

I don't know that I have the required courage to get something like that done. (But then I never thought I would be brave enough to get my hood pierced either.)

I like the way it looks - maybe if I could actually get it done in the USA I might consider it - but right now I believe the required procedure needs overseas travel.

I have few piercings myself but i really never would consider doing that because its your eyes. i would be too chicken to let people cut my eyes open and insert some metal inside. also it sound dangerous how it could damage your cornea. i really don't think it would be mainstream because its so dangerous. it least i wouldn't want it to be the "thing" cuz i would rather want my kids to have tattoos and piercing than that.

I have not ever performed that earlier than. I did, nevertheless, begin licking the glass and make obscene gestures with my fingers. Then the vehicle at the back of me honked whilst the sunshine became inexperienced.

I've never seen that before, but I like it. I would be scared of the pain, but tattoos hurt too. I really do like it though!
