Good for you for staying clean, and wanting beautiful teeth!
What I normally did when I was in school, I waited until class started, then I would go on a bathroom break and then I would go to the restroom, and brush it there while the other students were in class.
Or if you are really horrified and embarassed someone will see you, you can ask your school nurse to use that restroom, but then again, there will be sick kids in there. but no one will think you are a freak!

I have had braces before. It is very helpful to brush teeth after your school lunch so you can get the food out. But honestly, it's not necessary. You should just brush your teeth as you normally would when you didn't have braces... but if food does get stuck in your teeth often, just use special floss for braces after lunch. Some tips of mine for proper care for braces are to use Phos Flur, which prevents cavities and builds teeth while having braces. Hope this helped.

What would you rather people giving you weird glances until they realise/or you tell them that you've got braces. Or end up with those dreaded plaque marks?
My best mate had braces a couple of years ago while we were at school and she just used to use the sink in the bathroom/toilet to brush her teeth after lunch.
Dont worry to much about it at least you'll have really straight teeth

My daughter has to do this at school she just uses the bathroom, she had a few kids ask her why and just explained that is the best way of taking care of her teeth while she is wearing braces so as not to get marks on her teeth if you have any trouble speak to the staff they will probably let you use their bathroom to do this they can be very understanding and what have you to loose as you will be the one with cleanest straightest smile in school. Good luck and keep on smiling.

You dont mention what age you are but if this is a secondary school, I would be inclined to ask the H.E(cookery) teacher if it was possible to do it there. Or indeed any classroom (art?) that has sinks that is normally out of bounds at lunch time. All the best.
The staff toilets or medical room are probably not bad guesses either.
Something that may look a bit less "freaky" as you put it may be not to brush your teeth at all and use mouthwash instead.

The restroom. If they think you are a freak and state so, pay them a compliment. If they continue to mock you pay them another compliment but this time follow it with a good kick to thier groin.
I had braces and food getting stuck in them is a pain in the ***. They are also expensive and you want to keep your teeth clean or you will get spots from the brackets. They are not your peers responsibility so there for disregard your peers. It will determine real friendship in the end. Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm pretty sure that when people see you with braces, they will know why you are doing it. It only takes 2 minutes anyway. You're not the only one with braces I'm sure. If you are that worried about it, find the bathroom that is used the least and brush them there. Wouldn't you rather have people see you brushing your teeth so they know that you take good care of them and that they are clean? I would.......

I agee with emmajean. In my sons school many people brush teeth at break/lunch. But if you feel you cant, you can get, from vending machines in public loos little balls like little toothbrushes that you chew to clean your mouth. Not as good as brushing but better than nothing. I've tried them and theu quite good. Worth a try.

you could try using floss first and buy or get a little tool thing that helps clean in between the braces, also if you want to brush after lunch, ask your teacher to go to the bathroom during class, that way there will be minimal people in the bathroom. if your teacher doesnt allow that have someone (ur mom, dad, etc.) write a note to the teacher explaining it, hope it helps! :)

Trust me sweetie! I would rather you brush your teeth in front of me, than smile and you have mini squares on your teeth!
Don't be embarrased!! I brushed my teeth at lunch from 3rd grade to my senior year! And i never had braces. I just wanted to have clean teeth and good breath. I had friends who were not fortunate enough to have dental insurance and I swore i would never have teeth like them.
And honestly, in my younger years, when one student saw you brushing your teeth, it kinda spread like a epidemic and everyone was brushing there teeth after lunch.
I would rather hang out with you, whom having brushed her teeth, would be much more pleasing than someone smacking away on some gum.
brush to your delight!
