Judaism has no single, earthly leader. It is said that any Jew with a phone and a typewriter can be a spokesperson for Judaism. The multiplicity of denominations in Protestantism and of sects in Islam demonstrates that there is no one leader of these faiths. There some specific branches that have a single leader (as Roman Catholics do, obviously). But each of these can't pretend to have any influence on believers outside of their particular brand of faith.

Hello. In Islam, the leader of all the Muslims would be the Khalifah (Kha-LEE-fuh). The Khalifah would be the person who is considered to be both pious and an able statesman. The first four Khalifahs in Islam are considered to be "Rightly Guided". They were chosen by the people. After that time, the Khalifah was no longer the most qualified, but the most politically astute. Eventually, as the Muslims sank into ignorance, the Khalifah was abandoned. At this time there is no Khalifah, no one head leader for all the Muslims. Since Islam has no priesthood, there is no pope or other religious figure who leads. We do have Imaams, but they are not "anointed" as Imaams as, say, a priest would be. They are simply scholars who are learned in the religion.

There isn't a single person who is considered to be the head of any of those faiths. (Protestantism being pretty much founded on the idea that no man is closer to God than any other)
