I pray to God to keep me and my family safe and healthy everynight which he does. But I also ask him for personal things... like getting the job I just got. So pray for a little and get all of it... or even some of it.

Wouldn't it all equal up to the same thing? Maybe in a way...
I guess it would make sense if i would prefer to get all of what i was praying for even if it was for only a little. Over the years, though, I've learned to accept whatever the answer to prayer is. The Lord is all knowing. He knows how much I need better than I think I do.

Hope this answers your question sufficiently. God bless you and your husband.

I think it's the little things that matter the most and bring more happiness.

Like for instance, the strength to face a day that is usually tough. The work i'm doing right now isn't easy, i spend about 10 hours a day landscaping... so like shovelling, raking, brick laying. I was actually grading a sidewalk the other day, which requires alot of gravel to be laid down (and shovelled :\).

Also, most of the guys i'm working with are sometimes difficult to deal with... they are fairly abnoxious and rude but you come to expect that from most guys.

So i just ask for God's help, it makes my day alot more pleasant knowing He is guiding me.

All the small things add up to one really big thing.

I would rather not waste my time praying and actually bend thoughts and wits to achieve my aims.

Scientific studies have shown that prayer does nothing that a sugar pill can not do. Sorry, that is reality.

Good question. If you are referring to prayer only for self, I'll take the little for all. If your talking about prayer for the masses, I'll take a lot for some of it.

I'd rather skip the prayer and make it happen.

I don't pray for things. I give thanks.
