Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name

Many of the verses you've quoted pertain to the resurrection of the dead, not reincarnation. At the resurrection, our bodies will be given life again -- but we will have the SAME bodies, only perfected.

The remainder of the verses you quoted pertain to other matters, such as a parent's sin not be ascribed to a child. None of these have anything to do with reincarnation.

The only verse in the Bible that can truely be misconstrued as pertaining to reincarnation is Matthew 11:14. However, Jesus isn't saying that Elijah was literally reborn as John the Baptist; He was saying that John the Baptist was born with the same measure of the Holy Spirit that Elijah had (the Spirit is God, not a man's spirit).

I am a teacher of the manuscripts, and only have one clear message for you:
If you honestly see proof of reincarnation
in any single one of those verses, then you desperately need to start realizing that you
are not understanding what you read.
There is nothing in your Bible, or in the
original manuscripts including the Massorah that in any remote way indicates that
reincarnation is a reality. It simply is not
written.
If you need a true teacher of the manuscripts and really want to finally learn some truth instead of a bunch of church
nonsense, call this phone number and they will send you a free CD to get you started:

1-800-643-4645.
They are a Church; they teach directly from the manuscripts on a college-level. They do not do telethons, write books, or do any kind of circus side-show nonsense such as gibberish talking in tongues, staged healings, nothing. Just the Word taught
correctly, verse by verse, from the manuscripts.
They will NOT contact you; they will only send you the CD. They are not in need of students, as they get them on a slow week
between 500-600 PER WEEK.
They do not believe in asking for money:
they believe that if a Church teaches the Word of God, that Christ will see to that
Church's survival without begging for money.
On this note, they have gone from 15 members to going into over 90 million homes in teaching. And all that, by only
simply reading and understanding Gods Word, instead of mans nonsense.

I hope you will call and get the free CD.

Lets do a test: if you answer the following question correctly, then you do not need
any study help with regard to Scripture, fair enough?
Who was the father of each of these two
people? Cain and Abel.
If your answer was:
Adam was Abels father
Adam was Cains father
Then you do not know what the manuscripts say, and you need study help, because you answered WRONG. And don't feel too badly, because I will bet that 99% of the Christians who attend Church regularly would not answer this simple question correctly, either. Thats because people are not being taught.
Good luck, and dump the reincarnation idea;
nobody is coming back as another person,
or a cow, bug, or anything else.

Concerning Mark 8, you left out verse 29 "And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ." The people did not know who Jesus was at first. This verse does NOT say Jesus was any of those people reincarnated.

Concerning Matthew 17: Jesus is not stating that he is Elias reincarnated, he is simply stating that Elias was alive before Him.

Concerning Psalms: Not sure what you are using this verse for. No mention of any reincarnation here.

Concerning John 9: No mention here of reincarnation. Just talking about a blind man and his parents.

Concerning Galatians: No reference here about reincarnation, just talking about "reaping and sowing" doing good or evil.

Concerning John 14: This is Jesus promise of preparing a place in heaven, not on earth.

Concerning John 10: This is talking about Jesus' resurrection, not reincarnation. There is a big difference between the two.

Concerning Luke 9: Same as Mark 8:29, the people did not know who He was.

Concerning Matthew 16: Same as Luke 9 and Mark 8

Concerning Revelation 3: This is speaking of our home in heaven, not earth.

The verse you quoted do not in any way support reincarnation as explained above. You will not find any scriptures that support that theory.

Reincarnation is against Hebrews 9:27. Mark 8:29 answers that Jesus is the anointed one..Christ. Matthew 17:12-13.. he is like Elijah. Psalms... birth and death (born again). Gal...God won't be mocked. John 14:3 the raising of the dead John 10:17-18 Jesus willing gave His life for us. Luke... as in above. Matthew as above . Revelation speaks of after Christs final victory. Yes, believers will be back on earth with Christ, but not reincarnated, but with a new body. As Hebrews says we get one chance.

The judgement is a final state. There really is no biblical justification for reincarnation. It is at odds with the Christian notion of resurrection. I've looked at some of your prooftexts and they can be easily answered. Jesus said that John the Baptist was the Elijah who was to come because John came in the same power and office as Elijah. When asked if he was literally Elijah, John said unequivacally "no."
It seems to me that you are looking at reincarnation as superior to resurrection because you think by many incarnations you will somehow eventually "get it right." But you never get it right, and that is why Christ came. You don't have to hope you'll ever be accepted by God, you can know you will be if you trust in Christ to be "good enough" for you. You trust in him, and he satisfies your requirement to enter heaven. That is the whole "good news" gospel message. If it's up to you to merit salvation, heaven, forgiveness, etc, you never will, and God knew that, and that is why He came in the person of Jesus. If you want to get it right, you recieve Him on His terms, not some pagan Hindu karmic nonesense that rejects the truth. For heaven's sake, if you are going to read the Bible, read it in light of Christianity, not in terms of paganism.

If you don't mind being free and careless with Scripture, you can "prove" just about anything you want.

Scripture does NOT support the idea of reincarnation.

One example that dispels this whole line of reasoning is the story of Lazarus and the rich man.

And the very verse you start off with disproves it.

It is given unto all men to die ONCE. Not twice, not three times, or an unknown number of times until the person "gets it right."

Sorry, dear one....but Christianity and belief in reincarnation are mutually exclusive.

Are you a Christian? If you believe in reincarnation, you are not believing in the Holy Scriptures or the Traditions of the Church; if you believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, then you can clearly see reincarnation is a contradiction to the Scriptures (your out-of-context bits, notwithstanding), because it offers no loving God, no forgiving grace, and robs the Almighty of his attribute of mercy.

The sacrifice of Christ on the Cross and the shedding of his blood cannot be compatible with a system of belief that denies his atonement.

None of the verses you have mentioned have anything to do with reincarnation. That is fairy tale story made up by the devil to keep you from going to Heaven. In Hebrews, it is very clear, Heaven or Hell, there is no second chances, Life is a one shot deal, You either chose to serve Jesus or you chose to serve satan, the devil himself, you can't straddle the fence. You can't be lukewarm. It is my Prayer you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Read some books by Bro. Billy Graham, or Charles Stanley, they will tell you the truth.

These verses in no way prove reincarnation. You have failed to compare them with other verses in the Bible and verses which follow. All in all, a fascinating insight on how one can perversely claim to interpret Scripture and a monument to a lack of knowledge of Scripture.

Look at it this way...

Christ came to earth, through Mary. We call this the incarnation. It is proof that it CAN be done.

Christ brought Lazarus back from the dead. This is proof that it HAS been done.

The only question left is whether God says it WILL be done.
