Adultery is a sin of the heart.

Job 31:1-3
I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman?

The word Pornography comes from two Greek words. The first is porne, meaning “harlot,” which is akin to the word pernanai, meaning “to sell.” The second word is graphein, meaning “to write.” In other words, pornography is literally “the writing of harlots.” So pornography can be anything that is either text, or photography based. That which is "of harlotry" is forbidden in scripture in many places.

Proverbs 6
For by means of a harlot
A man is reduced to a crust of bread;
And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.
Can a man take fire to his bosom,
And his clothes not be burned?

James 1:14–15
... each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.

Quite a few differing opinions here, huh? Well, the fact is, do you want to trust your soul to man's opinion on Yahoo, or the eternal Word of God that saves? Remember, people will always look for ways to excuse their sin. But such will never never remove or cleanse it away.

There is nothing sinful about the beauty of the human body. Sex is a wonderful thing. But Internet pornography coming from a lexicon porneia (no one knows exactly what it means), is engrossed with rank depravity, humiliation, vulgarity, abusiveness, exploitation and even at times morbid depravity. There's nothing beautiful about this.

Pornography is often times not even about sex. But uses it as an engine to drive other demented concepts. The bible is full of sexual inferences. Any moron would know better than to do some of these things. Or to use these as a testimony to promote that which is corrupt.

And oh yea,....the 'Reverend' forgot Ezekiel 23. We are not monkeys and dogs. We should step up and take some responsibility for the things we do.

God bless

Sex is beautiful. Porn can be sick.
Sex used to be a wholesome dance shared by two people who loved each other. The film industry has turned it into a way to market really bad films. Watch a porn and tell me the plot is thicker than a piece of paper.
Having said this, I like to watch it some times. I don't like the hard core porn because some of the things they do seem a little too staged. Some of the sicker stuff I saw when I was younger involved people and animals.
The Bible doesn't specifically say watching porn is sin. But watching it sure feels like sin sometimes.

Christians watching porn!? The vast majority of the actors in porn are Christians, so what are you worried about? There are so many things that the Bible does not allow but does that stop any Christian from being a total sinner and hypocrite?

Our Lord jesus Christ did not watch Porn, neither did Moses, John the Baptist or Pontious Pilot for that matter, now whether Jesus would have said "do not fornicate with loose women, neither with men but thou shouldst watch Electric Blue channel and rekieve thy desires thusly until thou shalt enter into the solemn estate of marriage for to procreate" or not

What's your point? I'm sure theres Christians that view pornographic material in spite of it being contrary to biblical teachings, but so what? They're just not spiritually enlightened enough to realize theres nothing to be gained in watching porn.

According to the Bible, nobody should be watching porn. It degrades the body temple, and it incites the watcher(s) to lustful thoughts.

the bible does say to not put before our eyes anything ungodly (paraphrasing). Nor are we suppose to be part of encouraging, or enabling others in sin
sexual immorality, adultery, fornication and prostituting is a sin, and when one buys porn, they are supporting it (the men and women to get paid for having sex)

Jesus was the only one that made it through without sinning. People make mistakes. There are worse things in the world then watching porn. I'm a christian, I watch porn.

Did you step up and throw the first stone? Didn't Jesus think that was worse?

You're concerning yourself too much with what Christians might be [as atheists tend to do].

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.
