Favorite: The Packers.
For Superbowl: Honestly, not a clue. After last season's crazy game, the only thing I'm banking on is the mascot scoring the winning touchdown on a fumble return during a special play.
Seein' how this is in R&S, does that mean I lack faith in the ol' pigskin?

My favorite is the Detroit Lions because I grew up in Michigan in the 90's when it was impossible not to be a Lions fan. As I've said before, I was indoctrinated in football more so than religion.
Superbowl this year of course is the Lions, because we Lions fans are always blindly loyal to our team no matter how often they let us down!

Part of me always longs for the Packers to get back in there. But not having an official team to root for in my local city (they tend to sell away their teams), I usually opt for the ones that have vocal Christians as coach or players. Last year was a treat in that I had two Christian coaches and did not know WHO to root for. That is just how I do my inward choosing. I mostly just like a good close game where everyone plays their best, and no one gets seriously hurt. :)
Deke - Look on the bright side. You are getting a new quarterback.
Southpaw - Well, I certainly hope it will be your RIGHT arm. :)

My favorite team is the Steelers because my boyfriend was from Pittsburgh and he is the first boyfriend that ever got me into football. I was so happy when they won the Superbowl!
