im 22 yr old guy jjust increased dosage to 20mg
wondering how much u guys are at?
is 20mg like a low?

No, 20 mg is not low, it is a pretty typical dose. I'd guess that the majority of my Paxil patients use 20 mg. The maximum possible dose, which is rarely used, is 50 mg per day. Beyond that clinical studies demonstrated no increase in effect, but a substantial increase in side effects. Most doctors don't prescibe more than 40 mg per day. The key is you want to use the lowest dose that adequately controls your condition.

I was on paxil 20mg. twice a day then CR at 37.5 mg once a day age 52, am now on Lexapro 10 mg.
