I don't know, because since he isn't a person, he couldn't appear himself. And if he did, he would appear as just a person. If he came out of the sky, I would think I'm hallucinating.
So, I don't know. I can't imagine what it would be, but I'd like to see it, whatever it is.

Well, some compelling evidence for the bible would be nice. Evidence means concrete finds that verifies or supports its claims or events. References between the 2 testaments or quotes from it are not evidence.
So some evidence that would be nice to see:
1. A global layer of silt dating to the same time period, most likely complete with fossils.
2. Written Egyptian confirmation of Joseph, the Hebrews, the Plagues or any part of the Exodus. We have a great amount of writings from various Egyptian time periods including laundry lists etc, but nothing that indicates that the Exodus ever happened.
3. The inexplicable ruins of a tall tower (Babel).
4. A pillar of salt, most likely eroded, near an excavation of two burned towns.
5. Contemporary writers (i.e. ones that lived at the same time as) recording *ANY* biblical miracles, signs or significant people.
6. Contemporary multiple cultures recording world effecting events such as the sun stopping, moving back, the star of Bethlehem, the 6 hours of darkness, etc.
7. Evidence of the temple curtain being destroyed around 30CE rather than 70CE (It is recorded as being destroyed along with the temple by the Romans in 70 CE, not before).
These things and other similar finds could be considered evidence in building a case to prove the Bible as true rather than just a historical myth. Granted, the bible is fairly accurate about locations i.e. towns or terrain features but so are other fictional books and writings.

No such proof is possible. The description of your God is a logical contradiction, so to prove that he is real is impossible.
You believe God created everything, is all knowing, is just and condemns people to hell for certain thoughts beliefs or actions, right? Well according to causal determinism an omniscient being would be capable of predicting every event with perfect accuracy. If that being also created the universe, it would be directly responsible for every thought, belief and action that ever has or ever will occur. Therefore if such a being were to punish anyone for anything, it would be punishing another for its own actions which would be malevolent. But God is defined as just, which is a logical contradiction. Therefore the premise that God exists must be flawed.

Proof? He could transfer all his omnipotent super-godly powers to me - sort of like in "Bruce Almighty". By becoming God, I would know I was for real. Of course I'd use the opportunity to slightly "remodel" the universe and get rid of religion. If I became God, I wouldn't want humans wasting their time worshiping me. I'd want them to learn to think for themselves instead of praying to me every time something goes wrong. I'd encourage humans to devote more attention to scientific research so that they could develop new energy sources, find cures for diseases and perfect space travel. I'd also give them a few friendly suggestions:
"Go forth my children and spread the seed of life across the Cosmos. Make green the barren worlds. Boldly go where no one has gone before! Be all you can be and grab for all the gusto while you're doing it, but use common sense. You'll figure out the rest as you go!"
And lo, they beheld a heavenly heavy metal band thrashing away on their golden guitars and screaming, "The Big Dude in the sky has spoken! Be cool!"
That's what I'd need. Think you can arrange that?

Something that would be realized by my senses. Touch, see, hear, smell, taste. Anything that would be concrete evidence. I'm not trying to disprove the existance of god, but I still haven't seen any proof either. A book written by who knows who and faith are not enough for me. I'm not an athiest but that is what I would need. Who really cares as long as someone believes in something that promotes good and moral veiws?

I already have all the proof I need to know that God is not real. At least the God that the big 3 religions all claim to serve. There may very well be a god responsible for all this, life, but it is not anything at all like a human and it never revealed itself to any illiterate nomads thousands of years ago.

...what do you really have against us not believing in something that we have seen no PROOF of?
He created the world? Yeah, right.
The world was created by a prokaryotic cell, that cell evolved into humans and apes.
Besides, I'll believe someone is God when I actually see him or HER descend from the Heavens. I say HER because the bible states that God has no gender, so I have the right to call God a woman, so don't no one yell at me for it and say, "Oh, God is a Man." Yeah, where in the bible does it say that? Hm?
Oh, and I'll believe in God when He/She does something Godly, like cast meteors or something in front of me into the planet. Yeah.
I don't 100% believe in God, I almost don't believe in God AT ALL, but when times get rough, REALLY rough, I do tend to pray.
It's a question to us, "Does he really exists?" "He's never been there for us, why should we believe in his existence?"
I've been to Hell and back, literally, and if you don't believe that, then don't. But just ask my Schizos, they have. I never got to see Satan himself, but I did get to see Death and Satan's followers...
So...if Hell exists, therefor Heaven must too, and that would mean, God existing too?
And Purgatory exists too, that is why we have ghosts, so that also is proof of a Heaven.

If he came out of Heaven and I was a witness I would believe. It is lack of evidence that makes me an Atheist.

If God would reveal before mass of people around the world with no doubt, perform miracles and show how he can control everything in the universe.
And most importantly, show that all the dead people over the time since the beginning of life are safe somewhere in haven.
Then I will believe. (Well, it oculd always be a superintelligence and not god, but what's the difference here.)

Which God? Physical proof. I need to actually see him face-to-face. If I saw him come down from Heaven, sure, I'll belive. But that's not going to happen.
I just want any sort of proof that cannot be explained with science.
PS Why do you care? Why can't you and your kind just leave us the hell alone. We aren't hurting you in anyway (except for the ******* who come on here and pick on Christians). So just clear off and leave us be.

Many countries have stories of God raising the dead (yes, today!) and many other mind blowing miracles. I don't think we see a lot of this stuff in the US because we are consumed by self and materialism. I have had lots of proof in my own personal life that makes me doubt no more. We have to be truly willing to see him though...that's the key.
