I have been stressing myself out to a point where i get sick trying to deal with all the people calling me for money the problem is I lost my job over a year ago and haven't found anything. I can't pay for school and no one will give me a loan because of my credit. I don't know what to do anymore....

can you move back home? it might suck, but then that's one less bill/rent to pay, so you can focus on paying other things off, have you thought about getting a consolidation loan?! my husband has done that and he was able to get 2 credit cards paid off, and a lower monthly rate to pay back the loan.

First, if you have been out of work for a year, you need to lower your standards and find a job.... any job!! There is something very wrong when a 22 year old can't find a job. Either you aren't looking very hard or you need help with a better resume or improved interviewing skills.

Try a temp agency. You won't make as much as you think you're worth but you will start having a steady income. Also, check out a fast food job as a second job -- I hear pizza delivery is pretty good, flexible hours and you get tips.

Then you can start dealing with your outstanding debt. You work on paying them off one at a time.

Well, the first thing is obviously to find a job, as this is the most important thing, without money, can't pay bills.

Beyond that, to start repairing your credit - Obtain a copy of your credit report. This can be done online at www.experian.com or similiar sites. It will cost money howerver to obtain a copy.

Once you have a copy of your credit, take a highlighter, go through and highlight all active and collection accounts. These are the accounts that are causing your credit to be bad. Start by contacting the agencies you owe money too. Alot of agencies are willing to work out payment plans, or settlement agreements where they will take less than you owe if you agree to pay it all off at once.

Start with the account you owe the least on, and call them and negotiate a settlement. Slowly as you can afford to, work through all your collection/overdue accounts.

It will take many months, possibly years to repair your credit.

Have seen lots of people asking info on bad credits. Well, if you need to get your problem solved onarrange loans or other finance, and usually means you will pay more interest on any loan you take out.

a credit counselor can help you, they will get the debt collectors to stop calling you, and give you a monthly payment plan. i had to file for chapter 13 last week it's not that bad and i can't find a job either. stop answering the phone, if they don't leave a message then screw em'!

Sometimes bankruptcy is the best option. From what little I know about your specific situation, I think bankruptcy might benefit you. Good luck.
