I need an untouched body perfectly preserved of a man with a missing rib and a woman both of whom contain a more complex DNA than current humans - DNA that contains all the information and variables that would be able to generate all the races and differences in all of humanity. And even then, I might be able to find some way of rationalizing it.
OK, that was tounge-in-cheek, but really people that haven't experienced God in a real way can't appreciate the authority of the Bible. You're not going to convince them in a logical way something that is clearly experiential. The authority of the Bible is like the message of the cross...
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God"
They won't get it until they get it.

A LOT more.
Sorry, it's going to take more than biased literature to persuade me.
I think it's funny how some people get offended when you tell them that there is proof that we evolved from lower-life forms, but have no problem with being told that we were made of dirt.
Oh and btw, humans didn't evolve from monkies. We evolved from a common ancestor. That's why that ancestor is only visable in museums and monkies still exists. Do some research before you start running your mouth.
But hey, belive what you want to. It's cool. But as for me, and many others, I need physical proof. But question, if Adam and Eve are real...why are there so many different races? You know,...considering that Adam and Eve are depicted as white.

The good book is silent on how adam and eve's children found mates. So, my guess is they interbred like good little incestuous children and created a mutant strain of human. Maybe adam was the first father to have sexual relations with his child and eve the first to teach her son the facts of life by participating. Then along came Noah. His small band of survivors had the same problem as adam and eve's -- result -- more interbreeding, more genetic mess.
Nah. I think I'll believe in evolution.

Hey, if you want to take the word of a book of poorly written fictions as, pardon the pun, gospel...go visit the nice men with the white coats, and let them make a comfy room for you.
Do you also not mix meat and dairy in the same meal?
Do you refuse to wear cotton and wool at the same time?
Do you sacrifice a fatted calf/hog/etc in the Unnamed one's name?
Do you pray only to God and not Christ or the saints/angels?
Do you take a paddle/shovel and walk 100 yards outside of your town/city to evacuate your bowels?
Actually failing to follow the above (and many other idiotic strictures in the bible) are classified as a Sin...and what are the two most popular foods in the Western World? Cheeseburgers and Pizza!!!
Circular Logic can not be successfully used to prove the sun rises in the east, let alone the existance of God.
Whenever someone starts spouting nonsense like this, it makes me place them into the same catagory as Conspiracy Theorists claiming the the CIA started WWI, or the idiots claiming to have been regularily abducted/probed by aliens.

We've got a conflict here. The Silmarillion clearly states that the world was brought into being from the Vision of Ilúvatar through the Music of The Ainur.

I think you should consider all possible options and weigh up the argument with the most logic and evidence. Darwin put forwards a very convincing argument, based on what he could see in the world around him.
However I have always wondered, if all people came from that sole couple, why do we not have a ridiculous amount of genetic diseases and why don't we all look the same?

The answers to all your questions about Adam and Eve will be found in the book Adam and Eve - A Tragic Love Story. This is a serious and scholarly work and I highly recommend it.

If that were true then you would be a blind faith believer, wouldn't you? The mistake is that you assume Christianity is about blind faith. It's not. It's foolish to put faith in something without any evidence that you can trust it. God knows this, in fact the Bible says that you should test everything and hold on to the good. I did, and because of that I came to trust the Bible as the infallible Word of God that it is. Anyone who doesn't bother to test the Bible and still concludes that it is wrong is a blind faith nonbeliever. To me that's even worse than a blind faith believer. But only slightly.

Yes but the Bible doesn't describe HOW God created the first humans. Science does.

This may sound like a smart a** answer but it's not really. Let me ask you this....It is considered a sin to partake in incestual relations is it not? But, if all humans are the result of Adam and Eve;s progeny then wasn't incest committed by them and their children.
In fact, if you want to take to an extreme, that would mean all humans on the earth are related and we all are committing incest.
