And why would you think is harder for girls? Not at all, I believe it depends more on what you really like doing, if you like solving problems and using logic as a tool then cs is for you.
Computer science is a broad major, do research in how computer science helps other fields (engineering, medical, agriculture, etc) and then you can kind of specialize on those applications, most guys i know work in financial applications of computer science, I would like to work in molecular biology applications like bioinformatics.
