I tolerate, try to understand, I am patient and understand everyone is different. I look after the environment close to me. I try to see the good in all people.
I may not change a little piece of this world but I hope I can help the people I come into contact with and give something back to the earth.

I believe in harmony.

Every day I look for ways to help people. I do not overreact to do this, I am not oppressive. I work hard on my approach so people trust me so I can assist them.

I mean anything from giving the £1 so someone can park. If I do not have the change for them.

Lifting, picking dropped and spilt items for people.

And importantly - have a pleasant word for people. Take the time to be pleasant.

Have I affected the world - Only if my work rubs off on others.

Maybe I will never know - but its quick, easy and anyone can do it.

once while attending a church film show that was put on for the international seamen who were in the port of walvis bay nanibia south west africa in 1970.after a cup of tea and a sandwich and talking to othere seamen from around the world we were asked to take a seat as the film was about to start when a white south african youth of about 18 stood up and said ,we aint watchin any film untill them kaffas (pointing to some very embarrased Nigerian seamen ) leave and three of his friends noded and voiced there agrement with him . I asked a shippmate what was happening and he told me about the situation in South Africa and Appartite . Just then the Nigerians stood up to leave and I stood up and pointed to the Nigerians told them to site down and stay were they were, I then turned to the south african (who was the same age as me ) and said to him this is the house of GOD and we are all GODS children and if you and your mates have a problem about watching a film with some black people then you leave if you want but the rest of us are going to watch the film . The Nigerians were quite afraide as were some of the others there that the police would come and cart us all off and give us a real hard time as Nanibia was occupied by south africa at the time ,but me and my mates believed that right was right no matter what and we all enjoyed a very good western .Once the film show had ended and we had said goodbye to the other seamen left with the others only to be chased by some of the south africans who tryed to run again and again (the 3 brits who stood up to them for what was right ) with there ford zepher several times untill we managed to cover the half mile bach to our ship ( the m.v.Tintagel Castle ) and safty. I believe we did just a little for the rights of our fellow men that night and although me and my mates are a lot older now.I would like to think that if needs be we would do it again .

I toss trash into a dumpster every day, which collects, and collects in a large dump on the edge of town. Sooner or later, we're going to run out of space to dump the garbage, or we're going to run out of the resources necessary to make the garbage in the first place.
