Or perhaps Glenn Miller and Amelia Earhart for a god/goddess spectrum.
Or the crew of the USS Cyclops (Bermuda Triangle) for a polytheism spectrum.

Only historic documentation of the miracles is the religious doctrine itself, which is in dispute by scholars who seek a broader range of "evidence" in general for all topics

Sorry but....
They didn't rise from the dead in front of many witnesses so.....
Nope
Try as you might, you cannot say that there weren't witnesses to the resurrected Christ....because there were

Yeah dude, go ahead....it amazes me how hard you aethiests are willing to work to deny God or creation. If you would put one tenth of that energy to Jesus you wouldnt be so miserable all the time...and you ARE miserable, whether you are willing to admit it or not. You all are miserable to be around and hate the world- just because the majority of us know where we are going when we leave this world and you're too busy worrying about the friggin' bermuda triangle....stop distorting the bare facts...if there is a creation, there must be a creator...theres a little science for you...I know yall get off on science cause you like to sound so smart...I'll pray for you

Christians were not the only ones who couldn't find the body. The Jewish community couldn't either. To find Jesus' body would be a killing blow to Christianity and the Jews knew yet no one came forward to display his dead body.
Not only had his body disappeared but many prophesed having seen the risen Christ. They(the apostles) all died gruesome deaths prophesing this belief in the risen Christ, well 10 out of twelve were actually martyred.
There is evidence that Jesus’ disciples had real experiences with one whom they believed was the risen Christ. We find in 1 Cor 15:3-8 an ancient creed spoken by Paul to the Corinthians.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. (1 Cor 15:3-8 NIV)
This creed is generally agreed that Paul received it from Peter and James between 3 and 5 years after the crucifixion. Since they are the ones who gave the creed to Paul, Jewish Scholar Pinchahs Lapide says this creed “may be considered the statement of eyewitnesses.” Here’s something more to consider that is often overlooked from this passage. The large number of witnesses of Christ after that resurrection morning, over 500 people is another statement worthy of consideration. Paul reminds them that the majority of those people were still alive and could be questioned. He says in effect, ‘If you don’t believe me, you can ask them.’ Such a statement in an admittedly genuine letter written within thirty years of the event is almost as strong evidence as one could hope to get for something that happened nearly two thousand years ago.
Just because the disciples think they saw Jesus does not mean they really did. There are three possible alternatives.
1- They were lying
2- They hallucinated
3- They really saw the risen Christ
Which of these is the most likely? Were they lying? If they were lying, it meant that the disciples knew that Jesus had not really risen, but they made up the story about the resurrection. But then why did 10 of the disciples willingly die as martyrs for their belief in the resurrection? People often die for a lie they believe is true. But if Jesus did not rise, the disciples knew it. They wouldn’t have just been dying for a lie that they mistakenly believed was true. The disciples were willing to give up their lives for a lie they KNEW was a lie. Ten people will not all give their lives for something they know to be a lie.
To suggest that the disciples were lying is considered today by all prominent New Testament scholars as an absurd theory. We can see why almost all scholars today admit that, if nothing else, the disciples at least believed that Jesus appeared to them. But to believe something does not make it true. Maybe the disciples were wrong and had been confused by an hallucination.
The theory of mass hallucinations is another attempt at explaining the claims of the appearances of Jesus after the resurrection. The disciples record eating and drinking with Jesus, as well as touching him. This cannot be done with hallucinations. Second, it is highly unlikely that they would all have had the same hallucination. Hallucinations are highly individual, and not group projections. And what about Paul’s conversion? Was Paul, the persecutor of Christians, so hoping to see the resurrected Jesus that his mind invented an appearance as well?
Since the disciples could not have been lying or hallucinating, we have only one possible explanation left: the disciples believed that they had seen the risen Jesus because they really had seen the risen Jesus. So the resurrection appearances alone demonstrate the resurrection.
God Bless

No, Hoffa is dead, Jesus Christ is not. Let me ask you this, do you think the devil is dead, with all the evil in the world you probably don't right, well Jesus Christ is not dead either, he is sitting at the right hand of the Father, He died for my sins and yours. He came to earth to give his life for us. The Bibles says that without the shedding of Blood there is no remission of sins, Did you see the movie Passion of the Christ, a roman Crucifix has plenty of blood. Christ gave all, for you and me. Now, do you believe Christ died for your sins, Are you willing to admit that you are a sinner to God. The Bibles says none is righteous, no not one, but by the Lords grace and mercy we can be saved. It is Gods will that all mankind be saved. Hell was built for the devil and his angels. If you would like to be saved just say this simple sinners Prayer believing in Jesus and the Bible. Dear Jesus, I just ask you right now to come into my life and save me, I admit and confess that I am a sinner. I believe that you came and died on a cross for my sins, and that you rose from the grave as a perfect sacrifice to cover the sins of all mankind. I do believe you are the Son of God and I ask you to make me one of your children in the Kingdom of Heaven, and be my Lord and Saviour, in Jesus Name Amen, If you Prayed this Prayer with a sincere heart you are now saved, You should feel a burden being lifted off your heart and the days will seem brighter as Christ begins a work in you, find a church, and start reading your Bible, may God Bless YOU!!! If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Mercy and Grace have been applied!!!

I believe we should worship as we believe. If you want to worship Hoffa, even though he's a horrible role model, go on ahead. If you look at the rest of your statement regarding Christ's empty tomb, there's a lot more to it than that. Of course any of us can always make any belief sound silly.
Peace

First, we must establish that Jimmy Hoffa did amazing miracles and stuff that cannot be explained logically and cure the sick and raise the dead and preach about this and that so that we can establish a religion called "Hoffianity"
Oh, and you forgot the crew of the Dei Gratia and the crew of Mary Celeste for Polytheism.

I saw Hoffa rise out of Lake Michigan just this morning. He declared the lake the new holy water. He had a holy book but accidentally dropped it in the lake. Then he disappeared again.
I really don't know what to make of it.

After the resurrection Jesus didn't simply "disappear". He walked and talked with more than 500 people over a period of 40 days. A lot of the people who saw him had previously hated him, and when they saw that he was alive and well - having been resurrected - they quickly believed. A large number of those people were put to death because they refused to deny what they had seen - Jesus was, and is, alive.
THAT is the defense of Christianity.

Quick, somebody write a book about how a bunch of eyewitnesses saw him rise from the grave, so that we can convert the doubters.
The LAPD wouldn't even arrest a racial minority on the kind of evidence that Christians take as "proof" of Jesus.

When you compare the standard of living in nations with a Christian heritage with that in those with none, does Christianity need defense?
People talk of "the empty tomb" to inspire hope. If the fate of any of those other people does that for ya, congratulations! Maybe one of them's got a place for you on their throne...
