We are always encouraged to be an example for others, and there are always people around us who are an example for ourselves. Like for me, in real life, my examples for follow are the missionaries and my Relief Society president. But while you're online in YA, reading and meeting other people, do you see someone as the example for you? who? why?
I have, althought I love all my contacts, I really pay attention to questions and answers of some of my contacts, some especific ones and based on their knowledge they have about the church and the way they write and express themselves, I remember them in my everyday. I love all my contacts, one my examples to follow can be you. I love you all

Mormanism is a false religion started by Joesph Smith after he joined another group with false ideas about religion the Freemasons. But for the record most of you have really good values.

Sometimes my "examples" are outside the church posters and sometime LDS posters.
But it usually depends of the specific post -- sometimes I think "that guy is full of crap" but then the very next post I think "wow that was insightful of him and very classy -- I need to remember to be that classy next answer"
so my list would be long --
I learned on my mission that you can learn from anyone -- those you are teaching, experienced missionaries, brand new missionaries, people who preach against you, etc. You just need to have the humility (or actually meekness is a better word) to accept a good example from any source.
Thanks,
D

There are many people on here who's answers I like to read. I think most LDS people on here do a great job of being examples, even though we all have our "off-days" I tend to appreciate the people who write more than one or two sentences in answers to doctrinal questions.

Like you, I have several. I like to read what guitarpicker56 has to say. Also, Pinkadot, straightup, and beta fishy. And I like yours too. You bring a certain something, a sweetness, to R&S. And of course there are new ones coming in all the time. I don't see Pinkadot or straightup too much anymore, but I guess that's because they have a life beyond YA :)

Sure! There are many who's answers I read and I learn something, or makes me want to find out an answer to my own questions, which makes me start to research things.
Thank you all for the examples you are, and for standing up for what you believe in!

No not me. I am comfortable within my own testimony and beliefs that I don't have to look at someone else to see what I should be or act like.
I know I am not perfect and sometimes I make typo's and people, especially the Born Agains capitalize on it. but I don't need them to tell me what I do or should believe.
Yahoo answer's is laughable and obnoxious.

Nobody singled out, but just think of it as a group effort. It's so so so nice to see what other intelligent members are thinking, especially if I am stuck at work on the computer or trying to think of how to say something better.

I have many examples for me. I think it becomes a cycle for good (i.e. others influence me to do good then through my good others are influenced- It's like a chain) Good examples are frequently set for me by people outside of the church which impresses me a lot....
Charity is a great thing.....
