You can believe in stones as long as you don't throw them at me.

That's your opinion. Of course your pastor shares the same theory! Some of your facts are not true though. Charles Darwin was not a satanist. Do a little research. Also, as far as I know, for some people the "proof" you speak of in the Bible just is not good enough for some people.

And in what way does your Bible prove we were created by God?
Read any science book you choose, not just Darwin, and you will find we evolved acording to natural selection, not as some product from a man in the sky. The Bible was primitive man's way of understanding the world in which he lived at the time.
Nothing I'm sure will convince you. You will simply carry on believing what you are told to believe, by your pastor.

Hello,
Actually how do we know your pastor is not a Satanist?
When one swears that we came 6000 years ago and walked with dinosaurs and ignore years of scientific work, research and the obvious staring at us right in the face, one makes a mockery of Christianity showing us to be fools, blind to reason and learning and the laughing stock of the world.
Satan himself has never been able to accomplish that.
By the way, Darwin did not belong the any Church of Satan, the cult of Khali or even the Hell Fires Club as far as I know so where is his interest there?
Cheers,
Michael Kelly

No because he had a loved one who died from a disease and could not understand why God would do so to him so he lost his faith.
In 1849, Anne caught scarlet fever along with her two sisters,[2] and her health thereafter declined; some authorities believe that she suffered from tuberculosis. In vain pursuit of help from Gully's water cure, Charles Darwin took his daughter to the Worcestershire spa town, Great Malvern. She died in Montreal House on the Worcester Road, and is buried in the Priory Church yard.
Her death at age ten was a terrible blow for both Charles and Emma. Charles wrote in a letter, "We have lost the joy of the household, and the solace of our old age ... Oh that she could now know how deeply, how tenderly we do still & and shall ever love her dear joyous face."[3].
When this happened, Darwin Lost his faith.
He could not understand why bad things happen to people.

Darwin NEVER said that human evolved from monkeys. All the primates share a common ancestor, and it's not just a theory, it has evidence. And when did bible ever prove anything? I don't see any evidence in it!

Congratulations on funding your pastor's living!
Next time you go to a hospital, don't worry about the bacteria that have evolved such that they are now drug resistant.
Stay away from your cell phone, your computer, your hybrid car, because science, and thus all the inovations that have taken place in your lifetime, is a satanist plot.
Crawl back under your rock and discuss with your religious fellowship which century was more godly, and then move to that century.

UM...the Bible is NOT a book of historical FACT, nor does it claim to be - -
Darwin dealt in verifiable FACT, then speculated a theory based on FACT - it STILL has not been 100% proven as 100% accurate - -
your Pastor is a fool if he is telling anyone that the Bible is historically correct or can be verified as FACT.

The bible doesn't proove anything. Being in print is not proof. If you believe it is, then Darwin's book is proof of evolution.
Nowhere in Darwin's book does he claim that humans evolved from monkeys. Read the book before making a fool of yourself.

The Bible proves NOTHING. The Bible is a book written by men that makes certain conclusions. But there is absolutely no evidence that those conclusions are true - and there certainly is no proof.
However, there is ample evidence in the fossil record to show evolution happened - and still happens today. The question is whether you have faith in a book with no evidence, or you accept scientific evidence that supports something else.

First I would like to say that I am a Christian. I am a Mormon. And dealing with evolution I have a firm belief that it is necessary. Lets imagine God and a Computer programmer. Just like he built this universe, this world, like-wise the computer programmer built a computer. Now this certain computer was very nice. It took a while to build. But unfortunately, through time something went wrong. Maybe it was small and not too big of a deal, but it still happened. Not because the computer was flaud, but because sometimes things just happen. Dust gets in, it gets wet, etc. So the computer programmer goes in and in no time fixes it. It wasn't a big deal. Throughout time it happens again, and again. not getting worse, but simply small things go wrong. Now lets take another direction. God is still a computer programmer in this, but this time He builds a computer that is very smart and well made. He creates it and as time goes by something goes wrong with this one. Now this time The programmer does nothing, but the computer he created is able to fix the problem on its own. It changes slightly. To accommodate what had gone wrong. And throughout time it changes and adapts to the different problems and situations that occur. Now... I feel that the computer that changes on its own would be far greater then the one that needs to continually be fixed. and I think the programmer that built the computer that changed would be far superior than the one that made the computer that constantly needed changes. Like-wise. God is all powerful. He does not need to keep sticking his finger in the mixing pot to keep it going. I am, also, in no way saying God is not perfect. I am only saying we are not perfect. Trees are not perfect, animals are not perfect. And need to do whatever it takes to survive, to change and adapt. Not believing in evolution is saying you believe in that computer programmer who did not make something so great that it can change itself and become greater, something that can adapt to its surroundings. But instead made something that always needs fixing.
