What could be the cause of this:

No symptoms other than a throbbing sensation in the throat - as if having swollowed your pulse.

Sounds like heart palpitations. Mine went down into my chest at times though. I had a heart cath, no problems. Then I researched it myself on the web, found out that low magnesium will cause that. I started taking magnesium, no more problems. If I run out of magnesium or forget to take it, it starts in my throat again. 500 mg, per day, helped me, so my husband who has had a heart attack, both take it everyday now. If after trying it for several day, and it doesn't go away, see your doctor.

hmm you dont say how old u are could be something to do with your heart or heart palpitations hard to tell please seek medical help asap
