It is very possible to be allergic to cigarette smoke. If I'm around smoke for an extended period of time, I start sneezing, coughing, weezing, and this isn't just the second hand stuff either. It's just like during allergy season for me. Look at a smoker's car. That nasty film that get's allover everything in their car is getting all over you too when you are near a smoker. Best to stay away from smokers or tell them you have allergies and maybe they will stop. Best of luck.

I am deathly allergic to many odors (gas, perfume, smoke). My reaction begins almost immediately after the exposure, but if I remain in a smoky environment for an extended period of time, the following morning I have had symptoms such as yours. They go away eventually, but should be just one more reminder why you should avoid smoking and second-hand smoke (in case dying of lung cancer wasn't enough).

Most everyone is allergic to cigarette smoke. It certainly is not good for you.

However, I would say you probably got something in your eye.

You may be allergic or intollerant to any one of the 4000 diferent chemicals in cigarette smoke.

60 of these are known to cause cancer, so it is simpler to just avoid cigarette smoke and lower your risk of cancer.

I had to sleep in a motel where the previous resident smoked heavily before.

My sinus was always congested. Throat itches and scratchy all the time.

I have never heard of this, but it does sound like some sort of allergy. If it persists better go see a doctor or go to your local pharmacy for allergy medicine like Benadril.
