Sorry, not true. You burn calories just by sitting around, standing in the shower, watching TV...heck, you burn calories even when you sleep. You're better off using that two hours to do whatever you do in a normal day. Besides, how the heck are you supposed to stand in a hot shower for two hours or more when the hot water runs out after half an hour or so? No truth to that statement whatsoever.

Really hot heat as opposed to really cold heat?
As has been said, the effects are minimal at best. However, it's a great way to irriesponsibly use resources, and to suck all of the hot water in your home (assuming your water heater will heat for that long), run up the water bill and the electrical bill (as electricity is needed for both the water heater and any lights you have on in the bathroom).

Technically. . . yes. But the weight loss is mostly water. Dehydration is no fun and you'll just gain the weight right back. The heat would tend you force your metabolism to work a little faster, which burns more calories, but the extra burn is so slight it's not worth the trouble (or the water bill).

Not really...it's the same concept as going into a sauna at a spa. You're not burning calories, you're sweating and thus losing a little water weight.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

of course it will just like steam showers and dry saunas. Just like anything else you need a routine, stretching, walking or some type of exercise because you can't expect that you will loose weight taking your morning shower.

sweat is water which has weight. In fact, one gallon of water weighs 8 pounds. But it is dangerous to sweat too much without replacing your body's water content.
